When a player presses = they are able to drop their hats. The hats can be picked up again if they (or another player) touches it. Unfortunately, a player isn't able to pick up a hat if they are already wearing one. This is because long ago, players could only wear one hat at a time, thus making the trade off for hats on and hats off equal. They have since made the maximum amount of hats three, but did not change the ability to pick up ground hats. This means that players with two or three hats on are able to drop them, but unable to pick them back up. This can be problematic when it just makes loose hats due to people being unable to pick up the hats they dropped, and can even cause lag in some instances. |

I can't describe how annoying it is when I throw all 3 of my hats and am only able to pick up one of them.. There should even be a toggle in the settings that switches whether you want to pick up 3 hats at once or only 1. |

Someone suggested above that they would add something in the menu that limits the amount of hats you can pick up. I personally think it should be that if your avatar is wearing 2 hats, you can only wear 2 hats. This of course could be changed by adding a third hat to your avatar when customizing and then resetting in game. |

That's like saying a way to stop people from hacking is to ask them to stop hacking. Plus, you can easily hit the = key on accident. |

When I read that I assumed that they meant it was something for developers to limit, not something for the player themselves, as they were talking about the script syntax for it. |

Eh... regardless of what they meant, I think my suggestion of the number of hats your avatar is wearing should be the number of hats you can pick up. |
