I actually need serious answers for this, and no, I'm not trying to insult anything or anyone. (I feel like I need to type this every time I make a reply or a thread since it's C&G) So.. to my question, What is the point of 3/4 of the activities that take place in clan trainings? I don't see the point in Colours, Juggernaut, Ghosts etc. I feel like the only two useful activities which take place in clan trainings are TDM and Glads. I've always felt like introducing stuff like 3/5/7 rounds of 1vX's into trainings as an activity could be way more useful than the activites stated above, and more that don't come to mind. Skill in 1v1/1vX is one of the most vital, if not, THE most vital quality you need in a raid/defense/scrimmage. I don't know if it's just me who thinks this, but I'd be really appreciative if someone gives me a detailed answer to this, or at least shares their opinions on this thread. Those modes I'd say are just to make the training more enjoyable. They still do somewhat hone your skill just not as much as a TDM or FFA, etc. *dropkicks*

@Echo I understand that, but what's wrong is that activities which make trainings more enjoyable are way more frequent than the ones which could actually help you find a way to improve. Not to mention that activities like Colours nowadays have a lot of glitching going on in it, which ruins the whole concept of it. Something I forgot to include in the post, I feel like Glads is way more underpicked as an activity than it should be. Sessions of 1v1s should be introduced as well in trainings, so the limit to having a 1v1 without the KDR having to matter wouldn't be having to ask someone personally to duel you. Auto Duels is my only source of "unofficial" 1v1s, and I have to worry about my W/L history and my KD/R there too. If I had never stepped foot into Auto Duels and stuck to only coming to trainings, my maximum kills at a raid would probably be 10 with 50 deaths. Excalibur - Legendary Sword of King Arthur

When I hosted in AcR I tried balancing things out, but usually when I hold a vote for something like Glads or TDM, glads is always picked (for the most part). I just think newer players think it's boring being decimated when they face some one more skilled (especially on mobile.) so I have to force pick a TDM. If you wanted this too change you might as well create your own group orrrrr you could join here becus i need a 2iC: https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2988029 (pm if interested) *dropkicks*

"I don't see the point in Colours, Juggernaut, Ghosts etc." i never did either unless for juggernaut you're trying to teach teamwork but it usually ends up a jumbled mess with no cooperation and 1v1's are really good for raw skill but you should also teach them teamwork and teamwork building exercises, for example most raids aren't going to be 1v1's and you need to show them they need situational awareness, callouts, teamwork so if they go up against someone better than them, they can overpower their skill via teamwork my name is omar i come from afar

I'll pass on the 2iC, thanks though. I'm not really qualified to be a 2iC, not in the slightest. >barely gets in discord/skype calls >is GMT >hasn't been a HR since 2014 >not as good as I was in the summer >just came back from my break in war clans >this account isn't even worth 1k R$. Also, being "decimated" wasn't what I was talking about. That's a whole other point, and if any HR/skilled person wants to "decimate" anyone else in a way of teaching them how to improve, they should give them tips to improve or maybe innovate some other kind of tactic into their fighting toolset. @commander That's why I included 1vXs as well in there, 3/5/7 rounds. Seeing this post reminded me of something else. I feel like practice raids/defenses don't exist anymore, they were really useful. If you're talking about "situational awareness, callouts, teamwork, teamwork and teamwork building exercises" then I'll take that as an agreement with my 1vX and practice raid/defense ideas? >barely gets in discord/skype calls | Don't care >is GMT | Don't care >hasn't been a HR since 2014 | Don't care >not as good as I was in the summer | Don't care >just came back from my break in war clans | Don't care >this account isn't even worth 1k R$. | Really don't care I'm just asking for someone to help lead and manage a bit. If you're not up for, it is, what it is. I'm saying by being decimated is that new players when placed in a vote tend not to choose a TDM because getting rekted isn't fun and I guess is boring. And if they're on mobile it makes it extremely hard for them to even utilize tips. I know the basics of gun combat but accuracy is mainly key to winning. SO the only way they can really improve is by repetitively doing TDM over and over. But if I do that, they won't attend anymore because it's boring for them. SO I usually keep it balanced, so it's fun for the most part yet they do get a decent amount of training. *dropkicks*

I guess you're right about your point of "keeping it balanced", but trainings in war clans in my opinion have become a waste of time. Especially in the really huge power clans with a lot of members (since it attracts more people and attention from the C&G community) that you'd end up calling the major/top attractions of the war-clan world on ROBLOX nowadays. The reason I made this thread to begin with is to share some of my feelings/thoughts I've had for around a year now, and possibly get some awareness on the topic. The other reason I made this thread is to at least improve the effect clan trainings have on your skill, and bringing it back to "balanced" would help a lot. Although I personally do think that what I've already said would help out more, and yes, it would feel a /bit/ bad but it'd help out so much in the end. Excalibur - Legendary Sword of King Arthur

i've found if you want members to personally try to get better you've got to give them a common goal / show them the goal you're trying to achieve in making them better if i were to have an "elite division", I wouldn't fill it off of who i thought was the best, I would make it of who try their hardest to get better, listens in the training, etc. So we can have the fun training for the normies, but the people who try and want to get better can have their own more skill training focus, harder trainings my name is omar i come from afar

I slightly disagree with the "elite division" statement considering even if they try their hardest to improve, they would have nobody to lead them. If I was you, I'd tweak that to "Have all the people who try their hardest, listen in trainings" blah blah blah and add at maximum 3 of the most decent swordfighters in that clan along with those people. The advantage/s of that would not only be that surpassing those said decent swordfighters would come off as a natural goal (since you're working at improving yourself) but it'd also be as a way to observe how others fight and study their tactics while at the same time being able to put some of their toolset, into yours. yeah the only thing i hate about putting the "best" in the division most of the "best" fighters are extremely inactive and hardly do anything beneficial for the group so i'd rather give it to someone who wants to improve to become the best fighter but i get what you're saying about putting someone who is good in there to teach them and be a role model, if they're active I have nothing against it but if they're more of a negative influence by being inactive / toxic nope my name is omar i come from afar

I didn't include the toxic/inactive thing in, knowing that considering you're being so reasonable and smart about this topic, you'd be really considerate about that kind of stuff. Excalibur - Legendary Sword of King Arthur

"I didn't include the toxic/inactive thing in, knowing that considering you're being so reasonable and smart about this topic, you'd be really considerate about that kind of stuff." you'd be surprised at a few clans i've been in to where i've had to fully convince the leader the person was a bad influence before i could exile them without repercussions was in one clan, was the 3ic of their elite division (talking about tcd) and some guy was helping us recruit, but in the process he wanted to be in every division, and i had to convince kroxon and caspian that we was a bad influence and was making all of our better players leave because of his toxicity, and they were still uneasy, but it was either that or 3 of our really solid members were leaving, so i exiled the kid and they turned out to be ok with it. you'd be surprised the situations you can get yourself in on this game my name is omar i come from afar

Yeah, you'd be really surprised. That's why I hate when people say ROBLOX is /just/ a game. Sure, it's a game but it has got more to it. Excalibur - Legendary Sword of King Arthur
