Frankly, these bands are too drastically different to give them a proper comparison.
But it's easily Dragonforce because they clearly haven't had as many bumps in the road as Metallica (Cough Cough Kicking Out Dave, Stealing his music, Having #### Problems, Losing Burton, Being a jerk to Burton 2.0, aka Newsted, case in point AJFA's non-existent bass, upsetting tons of hardcore fans with 1991's Metallica, Load being a flop, ReLoad being a flop, losing hair, Breaking Newsted in 2001, Hetfield having to go into rehab, Lars's negative publicity while pursuing Napster, St. Anger being a flop, St. Anger's snare, the snare in St. Anger, oh, did I mention that the snare in St. Anger was bad, also Lars can't drum anymore Cough Cough)
Dragonforce are a little less idolized as the greatest metal band of all time and aren't overrated. Also Kirk Hammett has nothing on Herman Li.
