sorry for my lack of activity this season guys. I'll be back to making weekly predictions soon, thought I'd do power rankings to get back into the swing of things
#1 Canton Greats [2-0]
A week 1 dismantling of the defending VB champion Panthers kept them atop the list. Nmd recorded 3 picks, 1 for a TD and v3kt had 7 sacks. This team won another close game against a powerhouse team in Barton and no one is looking to slow them down right now.
#2 Rockford Raptors [2-0]
Another strong team looking to make noise in hero's final season. They're a team of reliable veterans and also are steam rolling teams left and right. With MaIlard at helm of the offense what could go wrong? (Besides the obvious ;)
#3 RedCliff Raiders [2-0]
Ejected and co. have quietly been right behind the Greats in the most competitive division in OFL right now. They beat the Rams and Newark in great displays of offensive firepower. I expect them to remain within the top 5 all season.
#4 Barton Bruisers [1-1]
Record isn't everything, but this is easily the best team in the Coastal and showed it against the Greats by coming up just 7 points shy. Hunter hasn't missed a beat in the last 2 seasons and doesn't look to slow just now.
#5 Tremont Turks [2-0]
At week 3, I thought this team would be too inactive to even crack the top 15. McPatty has showed he can still QB and still has gas in the tank. It's been 4 seasons, but if you remember he did lead the Raiders to the playoffs in S8 in his last tenure and beat fred man in the wild card. This team is severely underrated and I expect them to remain top 10 all season long.
#6 ROBLOX Warriors [2-0]
After a quite horribly looking offseason roster, Deusix and Kingo have turned things around by brining in reliable veterans such as ars, VeerUp, Kakashi, etc. They won 2 close games and I expect them to remain tough to beat. I also expect them to be right behind the Bruisers in the coastal.
#7 ROBLOX Panthers [1-1]
Yung and boots are proving that losing tons of talent to the greats that they won't miss a beat. Yung struggled W1 against his former players, but W2 showed an aggressive more ambitious squad by putting up 28 points in one half against the Bolts. They showed they can maintain leads and win close games by closing out Treko and co. in the final minutes. Expect them to move into the top 5 here soon.
#8 Joston Jackrabbits [2-0]
Rom has been fairly decent in a squad of otherwise "mediocre" players. They're 2-0 after their beating of the Dresden Dragons. Their defense is vastly underrated, captained by hardscoped they have been a force to reckon with.
#9 Pemberley Punishers [1-1]
Led by Nyke and Zig, they're another quietly dominant team in the OEC. I look for them to bounce around the bottom of the top 10 all season, but Zig is annihilating every DB in his path so fair game right now.
#10 Rektshire Rattlers [1-1]
I didn't expect Ice to be a force to reckon with in his first season as a QB. He's keep the Rattlers in both of their games, just falling short to Joston (I believe). They currently lead the Gulf Division in a tightly packed division. I give the edge to the Punishers for their dominant win over FFC week 1.
#11 Florida FireCats [1-1]
After an abysmal loss week 1 to the Punishers, they rebounded nicely week 2 against Snowhawks. M4 put on a show in place of Mack scoring 65 points. Expect them to move up here soon.
#12 Highland Huskies [1-1]
No one expected bobo to be as good as he's been so far this season. He ran for 4 TDs week 1, but fell short week 2 and I expect him to get things on track. I also expect the Huskies to remain around the 9-14 range all season, but again, it's a long season.
#13 Corinth Spartans [1-1]
A controversial squad as they have plenty of drama surrounding their team and I think that is what holds them back from taking the next step. They're immature to say the least. They lost a close one week 1 and barely beat Saxon week 2, a struggling team to begin with. Expect them to also remain in this range all season.
#14 Saxon Sunbirds [1-1]
Not sure how, but this team somehow pulled off a week 1 victory against the Ducks and Jynx has been playing great for the most part. I'm not sure how long they still in the thick of things, but I expect them to remain somewhat average or below averages all season. Gorten, fr00b, and Jynx can change things very fast though.
#15 Buffalo Bolts [0-2]
This team has been kind of hectic to say the least. They let bobo rush for 4 TDs week 1 and lost in double OT and collapsed late against Yung and the Panthers week 2. They start slow in the secondary and play from behind most of the time. I think they can get things back on track, but the secondary has to be fixed.
#16 Dansville Ducks [0-2]
I don't know a whole lot about this team, but cara and fracta have to get it together. They're slipping in an already competitive division and can't afford to lose anymore ground. I expect cara to get his guys going and snag a few wins, but they'll have to get it together rather quick.
#17 Milikan Rams [0-2]
It's been quite a while since they have been ranked this low. Aside from their reschedule dispute week 1, they only put up 8 points against the Warriors. Their offense is lacking and they need to get better on defense or it could be tough sledding for the best franchise in OFL history.
#18 Newark Destroyers [0-2]
Another team that needs defensive help fast. They've given up the most points in the league (I believe). You can't expect tenable to be able to go up and down the field with every team, it just won't work. 85 points allowed won't cut it. The Coastal will be tough sledding with no defense.
#19 Dresden Dragons [0-2]
Already a new HC and we could've all seen this coming. Even vrill couldn't save the Dragons against Joston. This team might be the only winless squad this season.
#20 Korblox Snowhawks [0-2]
You can't let up 70 points to MALLARD then 65 to M4 then expect to rank you any higher. I think M4 can turn things around, but for now you're dead last for sure lol.

I'd definitely move Barton to #2 despite barely losing to Canton. Their QB was missing all of the 1st quarter.
Raiders beating newark and rams (some of the worst teams in the league) is not a amazing feat to put them above barton who beat the same newark team by more than the raiders did, and barely lost to the #1 team in the OFL.
I just don't think it's any question to put them #2 or #3 at the least.

people who said barton barely lost to canton: barton really lost by 14 points but the last play they threw a td it was oob but refs said in when it clearly wasnt and it just ended it at that.
regardless they lost by 8 even with that hailmary cuz no pat was kicked

ducks are the best 0-2 team IMO
i dont count on losing to Treko, though hes being his typical self and not rescheduling because he wants our players to miss the game.

we should be #2 , record doesnt mean everything , because every team that is above is definitely losing to tekt , and we are definitely competing for #1 because i didnt have a chance to set the tone of the game to start , otherwise pretty good |
