Training is something that many groups can get wrong, and is difficult to do perfectly. Usually groups will have a focus on laps, obstacle courses and rifle ranges. While this can be effective in some aspects, it provides no information on how to act in the field. So for one to provide effective training, one must know how to act in the field. Squad tactics, use of cover for movement, use of weaponry and command ability are the key aspects of fighting in the field. So commanders and trainers must use these in training, whilst also keeping maturity and drills.
Officers and trainers must also have an understanding of what the soldier is think and be able to keep them both engaged and entertained, not all recruits are there to be talked to for long stretches of time. So keeping dialogue short and having co-trainers explaining those who are lagging behind before moving on are the most effective means of keeping soldiers engaged.
Officers also need to realise the effects that abusing recruits, even those that lack intelligence has. Constantly killing or using admin to 'discipline' a recruit only causes the recruit to become frustrated and open fire or act worse than they already are. An officer or trainer needs to be able to communicate and settle a disruptive recruit in order to proceed with the training. Malicious and other intentionally disruptive activities should not be tolerated by officers however. If a soldier automatically attempts to disrupt and cause damage should be removed whether with admin or not.
Obstacle courses and some forms of discipline are not required, especially for an army that uses small scale warfare. Thus, training should focus on:
- Rifle commands, keys, using weapons effectively
- Using terrain
- Moving through open areas and covering fire
- Commands and translations
- Basic lines and parade movement
The above will provide the most useful knowledge of what a soldier can expect to need in the field or for group activities.
Language barriers should also be taken into account, individuals from non-English speaking countries may join, thus, basic words and phrases should be used if a non-English speaker is to be present in the training. By extension, children under the age of eleven or twelve should also have this rule ## ## they can understand what is being explained. |

"While this can be effective in some aspects, it provides no information on how to act in the field." Oh god.... You really don't know anything do you. |

Doing laps and obstacle courses really provides no tangible benefit to an actual combat situation. Please, if you have a disagreement with that statement, provide some kind of explanation to your point. |

I know the title doesn't make complete sense, however what I meant in saying that was it was simplifying an advanced method I came up with. I hope I clarified that. |

what is the point in making a Lego guy walk in circles |

There is none, which is why I am against the idea of laps. Obstacle courses less so, however they still provide no improvement in combat performance. |

Who gives a ### what you are against. Everything has it's purpose. Maybe you aren't smart enough to know that yet. |

The Prime Minister of New Zealand (Māori: Te Pirimia o Aotearoa) is the primary minister of the Crown, chairman of the Cabinet, and head of government in New Zealand. The office exists by long-established convention (originating in New Zealand's former colonial power, the United Kingdom) that stipulates the monarch's representative, the Governor-General, must select as prime minister the person most likely to command the confidence of the New Zealand House of Representatives. This individual is typically the leader of the political party that holds the largest number of seats in that chamber. John Key of the National Party has served in the office since 19 November 2008; he won re-election in 2011 and in 2014.
The title "Prime Minister" had made its first formal appearance in the 1873 Schedule of the Civil List Act, but originally the head of government was entitled Colonial Secretary or First Minister. This was formally changed in 1869 to "Premier". This title remained in use for over thirty years, being informally changed by Richard Seddon to "Prime Minister" in 1901 during his tenure in office.[2] Following the declaration of New Zealand as a Dominion in 1907, the term "Prime Minister" has been used exclusively. |

Only reason you think drills are useless and don't train you is because you are from the clan world where kiddies can go around and think their the best at everything and trolls all the time. AA is an ww2 group and ww2 was started in the year 1939. If you can't build simple maps for AA then stop developing for AA. Don't be clueless and say "drills are useless cause im too lazy to do them" and you guys raiding USM. You are idiots. (Sorry for bad grammar on phone) |

Obstacles are not useless in combat, not every map has no obstacles to climb over a wall. There is Always another way to get through the other side. If obstacles involve difficulty and teamwork that is what they will have to face in a clan map. Basically every war clan group as a second way to pass there defense. |

For the record, the point I'm trying to convey is that there are better ways to train than only doing drills. They have their place as a way to maintain discipline and professionalism that is undeniable. However only doing them is pointless. I did actually include some drills (Basic Lines and parade movement) in the original post. |

Let's compare them then with simple yes or no questions :)
Do WWII groups recycle uniforms? Yes
Do typical clans recycle uniforms? No
Do WWII groups have unique and new tech? No
Do clan worlds have unique and new tech? Yes
And to conclude
Are most WWII groups garbage? A big fat yes for u big boy.

Clearly WW2 doesn't have high tech because it's WW2! They don't have fancy things like the clan world does because it's not meant for the WW2 community. I swear, some Clan world people can be stupid af. |
