This may or may not be in the works due to a blog post I saw months ago, but I just thought this would be a great idea. Roblox should sell blank slates of the most popular hats that could be sold for 5 robux more. This basically means it's either all white or has the gray and white tiles like PNG images. This would allow people to change the colors and designs to what they like. For example: I'd love to have a pair of Midnight Shades with darker lens and a dark purple frame. With this system in place, I could download the blank template model and color it in myself (3D or 2D, not sure which one but 3D seems easier). Because of the money system on this site, this could allow NBC and up to sell them for other members to buy. For NBCs, it could be around half the original price or below of the template (so with midnight shades, it would be 255 / 2 = 127). For BC and up, it can be up to the price in which it was bought (midnight shades: 255). These changes would count with BC only items, Limiteds, and Limited Unique items as well as plain items. This can allow for a more extensive creativity for those who aren't fluent in making games or scripting. This could fall into the clothing design category.
I believe the original idea I read was that people could make meshes of hats and things and sell those instead, but considering not everyone is that skilled in making something as advanced as a mesh, this method would be easier, especially or the younger population who don't have the skills to comprehend and made mesh hats available for sale.
