[NUSA] Ruamaryn for Las Vegas City Council!

Hi there! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Nasir, and my current roblox username is Ruamaryn, and here I’d like to tell you why I am running for LVCC. I’ve been in NUSA for over a year now, and throughout this time, I’ve grown as a person from the various experiences I’ve had over the course of my career. From being a two-bit Russian Mafia thug to becoming Chief of EMS, I’ve come a long way. Over the course of this past year, I have made a reputation for being someone who is very mature, diligent, and honorable. My outstanding character qualities no doubt have helped me succeed in both real life and NUSA, and as my career went on, I was offered and recommended for many jobs and positions, a lot of which I turned down for concerns, such as a few months ago, when Technozo asked me to run for LVCC so he could pick me to be his Deputy Mayor. Back then, I wasn’t too sure of myself in either position of councilor or as “politician,” so I ended up deciding not to run, but I felt bad because I couldn’t give Technozo a good pick in place of me. During this current mayoral and councilor term that is coming to an end soon, I have seen some great LVCC members who have done their job properly. I even had the opportunity of working as the clerk of the current council president, HershB. However, some of the councilors really haven’t been handling their responsibility properly. For example, the former Council President, Aluoss, had started harassing me on Discord and I ended up blocking him to avoid his immaturity. His anger and childish attitude lead to him false banning me from Las Vegas, and this raised a major concern of security for the current councilors and ban moderators. To me, it has now become clear that LVCC is in need of some better candidates, ones who won’t abuse their power and will actually work to help the people, and not just say it on the thread to get signatures. Ever since I started working in NUSA, I became sympathetic towards the citizens who found it hard to receive jobs or have their voices heard. This is why I’ve been a constant source of contact and applications for the general public. I want the good people of NUSA to have someone looking out for them, someone who doesn’t have the audacity to abuse their power, and someone who will actually listen to them. As a councilor, I would like to gather ideas from citizens. I will go around Las Vegas and ask people what they would like to see changed. Even if it’s something I don’t necessarily agree with, I will still take everything concerning citizens into thought, and share my information with other councilors, that we all may be able to work together and make Las Vegas better for everyone who plays it. My General Plans: •Make more jobs available to the public. •More public recognition towards private businesses and companies. •Friendlier and more approachable administration regarding Las Vegas issues. •Limiting abuse and corruption in and around Las Vegas affairs as much as possible. •Allowing people to have an easy method of connecting to LVCC members for suggestions and concerns. Well, this is all I have to say for now. I am not running with any party as I choose not to have any political influence or affiliation.
