From what I have heard, it's enforced to ensure something about gangs. So yea, my swim team hat for my school makes me look like I'm in a gang.
Another time a friend of mine asked our principal why we can't wear hats in school and why they have to enforce it. He replied that we just have to. |

i wasnt allowed to in elementary and middle school, and im pretty sure there is a rule about it in my high school but no one enforces it.

for me you cant wear hats in elementary or middle school but you can in high school [I can since I'm in high school but you just have to take your hats off during the national anthem] and we aren't allowed having your hood up in any grade but you can wear the hoodie, lol. |
