Hello everyone, this is NRBA Media's Director ClutchK here with some important news.
I will be giving you guys a glimpse of what NRBA Media will be doing throughout the season to clarify some things.
1. Power rankings - We will be updating and evaluating every team after every round of games. We will also rank these teams in what we feel like where they stand in the league and give a short description on why.
2. Trades / Interesting news - If something happens, lets say a superstar wants a trade ( we all know it happens ) and they find themselves on another team, we will break it down on what the trade does and how it will affect the teams in a positive way and a negative way. We will also give news on interesting things that may go down in games such as suspensions, rivalries, and all out madness that goes on during games ( Yes it happens).
3. Interviews - We will also be interviewing #### #### coaches or certain players on how their season is going, for example if HAW goes 7-0 to start the season we will interview XakicSaberhagen on what he is doing right with his team and how they are doing so well, Or Visa versa. Also if a player is going off lets say 10 hrs in 5 games, we will catch an interview with him / her (candycane) and see how they are doing it.
4. Game of the Week's (Rounds) - Every round, we will pick a game that stands out the most whether its a big rivalry going on, or playoff implications and we will break the game down piece by piece and give you all the interesting details you need to know!
5. Suggestions - PM me suggestions on other interesting things you will like to see from us! We will accept all suggestions and take them into consideration. |

Team ratings [12/28/16]
Good morning, I am former NRBA S9 MVP Steven822. The preseason is coming to a close shortly, and I will be doing some team ratings.
RL:
Chicago White Sox - 97 OVR
Yes I do play for this team, but there is no doubt that this team is a keeper. The White Sox have 5 MVPs between the first 4 batters in the lineup, and have amazing players in ClutchK, Patriots017, and Hancock3. Even though those 3 are a powerhouse, they can't do it all by themselves. They need the back end of their lineup, (Hardys, Randy, Afro) to step up and perform if they want to go far. Also judging by the preseason, the White Sox scored 23 combined runs in 2 games against the Indians and the Chiefs. These guys are big contenders.
Cleveland Indians - 86 OVR
Man, we won't stop seeing Harvick own the Indians every season. Yes folks, they're back. The Indians have the familiar faces in Mandsluis24, the owner himself Harvick29rocks, Mikeymersucf, and Vito3000. They lost key players this season in Rocketman39, and Steven822, but have new additions with BillBulger, iFireCabrera, and BrianCMullin. These guys never want to leave us, but they are rated high due to the fact that they make the playoffs every season. It's just a matter of winning the championship.
Winnipeg Chiefs - 72 OVR
The Chiefs are back with GalaxyIII in command, with old guys such as Net10Rose, Kingstan8321, EliteJayy, PythonPete, DesmondSanders, and Pwnzerkid. These guys need to have their old guys step up and do some damage if they want a 3rd seed. They also have pitching prospect Kbagwell, and new PC iSlugger. They also need the sophomore player Chauncxy to start playing well if they want to do some major stuff in the RL.
Hawaii Raptors - 68 OVR
One day Xakic confronted me after I told him that I retracted my application for owner. He told me that he wanted to own a team, and didn't know if Pat would let him. Well, it turns out this is your big shot Xakic. They have decent players in ColeWAgent, and Candy, but they need the new additions from MLB, such as Jeurys_Familia, and iiKxngTbby to step up and perform as well. This team is rated so low due to the fact that they have new faces, and no one is counting on them to really go far with their team. I would be real happy to see if they pull an upset and win the 3rd seed.
UL:
Washington Nationals - 98 OVR
This is the powerhouse team with MVPs of Camarena15, and Jeffgordon2488. With the signings of Yollis and iVoltus, this makes this team seem more scary. They have a gold glove outfield with Nil11, Camarena15, Jeffgordon2488, Leo0816, and Yollis. This team is definitley a championship contender team. Teams in the UL beware, for the red storm is flooding in.
Pittsburgh Pirates - 85 OVR
Famousnick12 is back again owning with new faces in TheSkraxx, TheHiya, Redrocker53, Nothing146, and Pkmnfreak. This team might struggle in the first 2 games due to Jja38, Famousnick12, Eael, and iSmogen all suspended for 2-3 games. In the long run I do see this team getting a 2nd seed, as they have the pitching with Redrocker, and base hit hitters in TheSkraxx, Alan_Trammell, and TheHiya. Don't sleep on these guys, because you never know when they might show up to the party.
Queens Bombers - 79 OVR
These guys are back with Cash at the helm. Yes they do have all-star Rocketman39 and Muitiversial to add to their agenda, but they need more players like that. One superstar player cannot carry a team into the playoffs. They need to have Matt step up, and their back end of the lineup. They do have lmj, but they need him to be more active. With additions of Cheezus and Icky, this team could be a 3rd seed, but they are rated low due to the fact that their lineup seems to be unstable.
Beaverton Panthers - 71 OVR
CowardlyArnold is back again with the infamous Beaverton Panthers as they once again have a whole slew of new players in their lineup. They need the rookies to start playing well if they want to do well, as they can't rely on former gold glove RatedExtreme, and former rookie sensation NhlCh33z3h. They do have a slight edge in pitching with former Cy young Jdawgisbeastly, and do have bats in YouFoundDTS, Cow himself, and Doogiosses. I will be very surprised if this team makes a push for a 3rd seed, because they need the WHOLE team to perform, not just Rated or Cow.

[Note] I will be doing this for every round or at least someone will, and the order is not necessarily the order of what it will be played.
Chicago White Sox @ Winnipeg Chiefs
Well, we all knew iVoltus was going to be off WPG before the season started, so that was a big decrease but they gained players such as EliteJayy, and Net10Rose. This game will be close, or a blowout nothing in between. Hancock will probably be the pitcher for Chicago therefore the Chiefs will have a tough time getting some runs. I think this game will not be close due to the chiefs lack of Defense.
Prediction : CWS 8 - 2 WPG
[GAME OF THE ROUND]
Cleveland Indians vs Beaverton Panthers
This game can go either way because it is playing in Progressive. I see this game as a close game because Cleveland didn't look to good in the preseason games but hey that was preseason. If Cow can sort out his team and not have a person go 4/4 in a clutch situation I see BVN with the Upset!
Prediction CLE 5 - 6 BVN
Hawaii Raptors vs Queen Bombers
This is XakicSaberhagens first game as a head coach in his career. But sadly, i dont see him getting his first win of his career. I just faced HAW and they had some decent hitters but there team chemistry was terrible, fighting and arguing while QNS has a bromance. I see QNS winning this by a long shot if Cash can beat out Xakic in the pitching dual.
Prediction HAW 2 - 5 QNS
Washington Nationals vs Pittsburgh Pirates
Yes this is the game of the round, clearly because these 2 teams are the favorites for #1 and #2 seeds of the UL. But sadly the golden stat- i mean washington nationals are just too good for the league. Sadly some of the members on the pirates had to get into some trouble near the end of last season and are suspended. The people that are suspended are basically Pits core. I do not see this game close.
Prediction WSH 7 - 0 PIT ( PIT FFT's near the 4th inning )
That is my first predictions for the games this round and wish everyone a good luck with their season ahead of them!
