The following describes how we will do Playoff selection, Pro Bowl selection and Awards.
Playoffs:
Playoff selection last season was based on a team's conference record. This season we plan to do things a little differently than that. Selection and placement will be determined by a team's overall season record. In addition all ties in record will be settled by head to head games. Only 4 teams from each conference will advance to playoffs, so do your best to make sure your team goes!
Pro Bowl:
Every season we've done a PB it has been slightly better than the last. I want this season's pro bowl to blow away all previous ones. As a result, we will do Pro Bowl selection based on who leads in the stats. Each team will have a guaranteed 1 player in attendance, but after that it is selected entirely upon individual player stats.
Awards:
This season stat keeping has been going well. So far we have had good stat keeping at all but just a few games, so I am hoping for great overall representation of a player's stats and performance over the season. For simple position awards we will do that as the top person on each chart is given the award. However, for complex stuff such as DPOTY, OPOTY etc. we will do a vote. The MVP award will be chosen as the player who has the most individual MVPs. If you want to see the MVP for each game that can be found under team stats in the stat sheet page. |
