Recently, ROBLOX has disabled the comments sections on practically everything. Their official virtual merchandise, and now every game. Soon, the comments section will be no more. "Why?", you might ask. There has been an outbreak of bots in comments sections as of late. Spam bots who millisecond by millisecond posted scams in the comments of popular items and games. ROBLOX's solution to this problem is to simply remove the entire section. This is not a solution. This is a waste of time. All they've done is simply revoke the place where these bots can post their mess. It's not like they've just vanished. Their programmers will find other places for them to post. And then, ROBLOX will simply just disable ALL comments sections so it's "not a problem anymore." Instead, there was an option just waiting to be taken long ago. In fact, it's still waiting to be used. It's a little something called ReCaptcha. Human Verification. Y'know. The thing that ROBLOX desperately needs but religiously refuses to incorporate into their account sign-up. If there was ANY sort of human verification, then this whole issue would be entirely avoided. There might still be some spam and a little scam, but you can't escape that entirely. You can definitely cut down on it, though. ROBLOX is a foolish company who would choose to remove something being exploited rather than try to fix it from being exploited. And another thing with comments sections that Roblox game creators have been dying for-- The ability to DELETE COMMENTS FROM THEIR CREATIONS Not even that impossible of a concept to conceive. Why is this not been even conceived, less implemented? I don't get it. Just two little additions to a portion of a webpage below the main feature would make the website marginally better. But instead, the obvious solution is to burn it to the ground because there's nothing we can do about it anymore. There was NEVER a solution to this whole problem. Nope. Burn it to the ground. It's all over. I am a little peeved at ROBLOX's decision. It's childish, unimaginative, and overall just stupid. Please fix the comments sections. Don't just eradicate them. Thank you for listening (if you bothered) ~Tazamo

In short, ROBLOX has removed comments because they were unable to notice the glaring simple solution that is to add any sort of human verification on account sign-up. Human verification would immensely reduce the amount of bot accounts being made, if not eradicate them entirely, and then allow the entire website community to efficiently report and delete all existing bot accounts. Also being able to manually delete comments from your created item or game is another wonderful idea that would help prevent children from falling for scams.

"It's a little something called ReCaptcha." They literally just don't work. The day before comments were removed, ROBLOX added a captcha to all game comments. And of course, that didn't stop bots. Which I believe that was why they were then removed. Also, the only problem isn't just the bots. It is the other sites that tell people to copy and paste a message on the comments section. It was flooded with these. Comments were just a system that people abused ( like everything on ROBLOX ) so now it got removed.

There are methods to stopping that. People haven't just stopped trying to prevent bots. ReCaptcha is just one system I threw out there as an example. And as for the actual people posting scams, they could put a message that pops up when clicking into a text box, telling them to not post spam or scams (and describing what they are.)
