We know tickets are still coded into the website.
Players with tickets, they still have the tickets on their account, its just that they can't spend them since no items are being sold for tickets any longer!
How we know this: remember that hat you accidentally sold for tickets shortly after ticket removal? People bought it for tickets! The tickets were still on their account!
And don't complain it's been 8 months.
Payday 2 players complained and finally, after over a YEAR, they got their wish, they were freed from microtransactions that were promised to never happen.
Just like you, ROBLOX, who promised "be anything, it's free".
I realize companies need to make a profit, but the way to do it is not to remove the problems, but to FIX them!
You have hit a glass ceiling, and while your earnings may be huge now, they will not be so great in the future...
At the pace you're going, it's almost like one of those Early Access games that never get finished because the developers just wanted a cash grab!
Don't abandon the players, Roblox!
Reasons TIX-removal supporters give for why tix removal was good:
Reason 1: Bots!
My comment: Perhaps a small issue, but this was never a "problem" that was discussed until people gave up on saving tix. Next reason?
Reason 2: Inflation
My comment: Caused by price floor. Next reason.
Reason 3: "but muh money the poor people can't have money and roblox is a business"

So, after deconstructing those reasons, let's take a look at how Tix could have been fixed, instead of outright removed:
1.) To fix bots, you just make it so currency is not a "daily login bonus" but rather, the guys at ROBLOX would take the top rated games, and add specific achievements to them, that give currency. This would also make the name "tickets" make more sense; like an arcade game!
2.) To fix inflation, lower the price floor to 10 tickets, and allow clothing to be made free. Simple enough.
3.) "but muh money the poor people can't have money and roblox is a business" is a horrible argument. I don't even need to deconstruct this one, it's that bad.
These are my reasons why I believe that I should stand up for this after all this time, and how I see the current economy of ROBLOX.
Robux fission may work too.
Constructive criticism is welcomed, you can not support, but please leave a reason why or you actually breaking forum rules.

Maybe instead of tickets for achievements, you could get them from getting the hats in events and even reintroducing contests to encourage people to build good games! |

Support. If you ask me, ROBLOX is turning into Club Penguin in terms of currency and customization options. When I was 7, I used to play Club Penguin (didn't everyone?) and I remember how non-members couldn't buy any accessories, and could only earn them from events, of which everyone ended up with them. Seem familiar? Hmm... |

I think it should be re-added but you shouldn't be able to convert it to Robux, Tix can only be used to buy Player make Clothes and Hats.

Honestly, bots were a lousy reason to remove tickets. but still legitimate.

WHAT? LMFAO that is hilarious! Do you know what inflation is? Clearly you don't.
Inflation is the fact that there were 150Million accounts as of march 1st ( side note: there were 100million accounts on november 21st 2015) and 10 tix given out each day to them. THat's 1,500,000,000 tickets given out each day. Now that there are all these tickets going into circulation, they are inflated. And since right now, there are 190 million accounts, ( 40 Million more ) then that means 1,900,000,000 tickets given out each day. And then guess what would happen? People convert them to ROBUX and then guess what happens? ROBUX ( Premium currency ) is ruined.

People always have complained about people wearing the 3.0, and just anything that is free, or costs a low amount ( like tickets ) even when tix were around. So your reason was irrelevant.

This is a nice idea, but here are the reasons why this wasn't the case.
1) It would now make playing games more about getting some currency, than playing with your friends and having fun. ROBLOX doesn't want that. They want the reason people play games to be having fun with your friends. Not getting some worthless currency.
2) It would make it even HARDER for small devs to get their games noticed since no one would care about it, since it doesn't give you any prizes.

Allowing clothing to be made free is an AWFUL idea (sorry if I came up as rude).
Let's say there's the average player, having robux to buy some clothing for shirts and pants.
There's a group that sells clothing in order to make a profit, and spent a lot of time to make it.
Meanwhile there's the shirt-stealer, taking other people's creations and make it as their own. If clothing was able to be sold as free, the shirt-stealers would steal their template for the shirts and sell it as their own (for free).
Because the shirt-stealers made their stolen shirts for free, many people would buy their shirts instead. The group trying to make a profit will end up losing to the shirt-stealers. This will create a monopoly of free-shirts, dominating the clothing industry. |

Still, you have to purchase Robux or Builder's Club with real life currency to pretty much do anything. If the situation was bad before, the removal of tickets was like the dam bursting, and now everyone is just soaked, and mostly unhappy. |

no the ticket api was deleted after the one hat screw-up where they made it cost 100tix instead of R$100 by accident

yeah...
my only income of roblox right now is through selling gamepasses with 90% tax. I get a single gamepass sale maybe once a month, earning me 1 whole robux. Wow, so much amirite? Before, I had an extremely profitable game with over 60 thousadn visits, I got hundreds of visits a day, and I probably still do, but I can't tell because I no longer profit immensely simply from keeping people interested in my game. Now I have to sell cosmetic things because I don't want to make my game pay to win, but the game is aimed at younger children, not teens, so they are unlikely to have money to afford them, and if a rare person with money does play my game, they probably won't like it. Before, they could use Tix to buy gamepasses, and I got tix from them playing the game. Nw my game makes next to no profit... Roblox is only concerned about limiting the DevEx potential of the big devs, but are totally oblivious to the damage they did to small devs when they said "TIX don't make up a majority of developers income"
ps. Not a whole lot of people buy cosmetic gamepasses because they want to pay to win |

there's a simple way you can make tens of thousands of robux as NBC (i did it and made lots of robux), instead of making a game with bad scripting skills and bad building skills with no ads, you sell your bad scripting services to people and they pay you
