nay, i spoke to the secretary of homeland security, the director of national intelligence, and the deputy secretary of defense about a house & senate intelligence committee i was creating and they stated that, under any circumstances whatsoever, they would never support a house committee on intelligence. (i convinced them to support a senate one and will be presenting that shortly) i don't see why we should force something on the intelligence community if they don't want it when there's a viable option they'll agree to that is very similar to this with me.

and, for the record, yes i know this isnt a house committee on intelligence but they don't see house members as, idk how to put it, competent enough to know information that would have to be disclosed to them if we passed this. maybe if some reps were smarter and more competent we wouldnt have this issue (not talking to any plutos and not talking to a few dems)
