I don't know about you guys, but I'm okay with R15. It's a nice feature and it gives a nice more-realistic, but somehow more animated feel.
There is a major problem, however, and that's backwards compatibility. Many hundreds of scripts call upon body parts that no longer exist with R15. ROBLOX was well aware of this going in, so they did add a feature to games where you could control which body type was allowed. This doesn't solve everything of course, since there's still inserted scripts that would have to be modified.
Anyway, the reason I advocate for R14 is because I don't think the torso needs to be split into two parts. It really doesn't noticeably move when you run/jump, and all it seems to do cosmetically is warp shirts and t-shirts by an absurd vertical factor. ALSO, Torso (next to head, which remains unchanged in name) is probably the second-most referred to body #### ####cripts.
So unless you really want your character to belly dance, there's almost no downside to making the torso a single part again. |
