Officers may not freely demote fellow officers.
For the purposes of this motion, the officer ranks will be placed into two different grades.
Grade A
Second Lieutenant
Lieutenant
Captain
Major
Lieutenant Colonel
Colonel
Grade B
Brigadier General
Major General
Lieutenant General
General
A grade A officer cannot demote a fellow grade A officer without presenting the reason of their demotion to a major general or above. Once the major general approves the demotion, the grade A officer may demote the fellow grade A officer down to however many ranks authorised by the major general or higher. A brigadier general is not allowed to demote a grade A officer without seeking permission from a superior officer. A grade B general is not allowed to demote a fellow grade B general. Any grade B officers MUST be court marshalled to be demoted. Grade B officer demotions may only be approved by the supreme judge. |
