Solanas Resort - Rank Descriptions At Solanas Resort, each of our staff members work hard to achieve each customer's happiness. Now, for that to happen, each rank in the group has a special job and/or responsibility related to their rank. This thread will give you a brief description and role of each rank. If you have any questions or comments regarding your rank role, please contact a Staff Director or a Resort Director. ----------------------------- Resort Guest - Resort Guests are members of Solanas Resort that come to the hotel often to enjoy their time and stay there. Resort Guests are the ones that make the entire hotel functional throughout every single day. Noted Guest - Noted Guests are members of Solanas Resort who are noted to everybody around them. They are just like resort guests. Receptionist in training - This is rank is where you are a untrained staff member that just began their work at Solanas Resort. You will have a choice between becomming a Receptionist or Customer Service. You will need to be trained to get promoted. Junior Receptionist - The Junior Receptionist rank is the most populated and the most familiar working rank at Solanas Resort. This is also the first staff rank. Junior Receptionists work behind the front desk to assist hotel guests with checking in and out of the hotel. Regular Receptionist - The Regular Receptionist rank is the second working rank at Solanas Resort. Like Junior Receptionists, they assist hotel guests behind the front desk with checking in and out of the hotel. To become an Advanced Receptionist, you must be a Regular Receptionist and promoted by a high rank. Advanced Receptionist - The Solanas Resort Advanced Receptionist Representatives also stand behind the front desk, Like Advanced Receptionists, they assist hotel guests behind the front desk with checking in and out of the hotel. To become apart of Hotel Services, you must be an Advanced Receptionist and promoted by a high rank. Customer Service - At Solanas Resort we need all customers to know exactly everything they want to know. Customer service people are trained and know exactly how to help any resort guest in need to know how to find a job, etc. Hotel Services - The Hotel Services rank is mostly considered of highly-trained receptionists. As a role, they stand behind the front desk to make sure all the receptionists are achieving each of the customers’ needs. If there is an issue with one of the receptionist he/she will handle it and then report the issue to Service Manager. Floor Manager - The Floor Manager rank is considered of highly-trained Customer Service Representatives. They work behind the Customer Service area to make sure all Customer Service Representatives are working diligently and handle any hotel issues that can’t be resolved by the Customer Service. Service Manager- The Service Manager runs day-to-day operations at the hotel. They watch over how the hotel progress each and every day. They handle all issues within the hotel and they make sure that those issues are handled properly. Resort Supervisor - The Resort Supervisor basically manages all staff members. They hire and fire staff members, along with receiving staff reports (if necessary). The Resort Supervisor reports to the Resort Director, if needed. Staff Director - The Staff Director rank consists of highly trained resort supervisors. Our Staff Directors manage all of the staff members ensuring they obey all rules. Board of Directors - The Board of directors are there to help make descisons with the Vice Chairman and Chairman. This is an extremely important rank to help Solanas Resort grow. Resort Director - The Resort Director manages the hotel when the both Chairmen aren’t available. They manage the hotel, staff members, the front desk, and anything beyond that. They work together to check applications and to decide on rank promotions and demotions. If needed, the Resort Directors report to the Vice Chairman and/or Chairman. Happiness Engineer - The Happiness Engineer goes around the hotel and makes sure everyone is having a great time, whether in a good or bad mood. He/She also manages staff members, and works at the front desk to assist to staff and general hotel complaints. This person is always in a good mood, so if you’re feeling down or if you don’t know what to do at the hotel, the Happiness Engineer will make you feel welcome and happy! Vice Chairman & Chairman - Both the Vice Chairman and Chairman run the group. They manage ALL staff members and manage ALL operations within the cafe.
