You are now reading the official Coalition Handbook. This guide will teach you and give you the information you will be required to know during your career within the organization. It is crucial that you know most of this information, as it will come handy in future scenarios. Before joining the organization (which is the first link you see when opening this), I recommend you reading this.
Most of you have heard about the SCP Foundation. If you don't know what the Foundation is, search it up on Google. The SCP Foundation is allied with many other organizations, known as 'Group of Interests'. All of these organizations focus on one topic/subject: Capturing SCPs.
What are they? They are paranormal entities that defy the natural law. They are assumed, or been assumed to be a major, or minor, threat to mankind. Even if they are a minor threat, they still need to be kept away from society as it could still cause panic throughout regions, and even the whole world.
We're not the Foundation, but we have a similar interest. We are the Global Occult Coalition. We protect humanity, whether they like it, or not. We protect humanity in many ways. Of course, we mainly rose up into this planet because of the para-threats. But, we are still threatened in many other ways.
History? What a good question. Back when World War II ended, the ruins of the Axis and Allied Forces came together and formed what is today, the Coalition. I know you're probably thinking why former enemies would form one major occult. Well, during that era, the rise of paranormal entities was in effect. Of course, if you read books or saw something in a similar scenario, only then, you'd understand.
Enough with the history. Let's get down to the point. Every country has it's own military. They can defend 'themselves'. Notice how themselves is quote unquote. A deliberate choice, it is. This shows how the each country is like one man. Ever heard of the saying, "Every man for himself". This explains the reasoning for war. When there is one threat, every country feels like they are threatened. Fear consumes us during threatening times like now.
The Coalition; it's like the world in peace. We are one. We protect everyone. No one gets left behind. The para-threats we deal with? They are like the 'aliens' some people believe in.
So, in conclusion, we are on major organization in peace that protects humanity/society from para-threats and bring justice for all.
I hope this guide helps you understand the sole purpose of the existence of the Global Occult Coalition. We may make some risky decisions, but it's for the greater good.
