Chapter 1: The Beginning of Politics
Politics has always fascinated me. I had no idea why - but I always enjoyed the concept of it. People fighting to gain power, groups of people working together to achieve a common good. I wanted to be involved with that. It all started when I stumbled across Nightgaldeld's NUSA back in 2012.
Before entering NUSA, I was a major war clans leader, and was cast aside due to past scandals. I was looking for a new beginning. The President at the time in NUSA was none other than Moolah60, an infamous leader. I always visited Washington D.C in my free time, and quickly talked to several people. Washington was like a second home to me because I felt so at ease there. I was so prominent in visiting Washington that everyone knew who I was! It was like a small world back in the old days.
One day, I was talking to a group of people, and this woman began talking to me about the White House. I vividly remember her being surrounded by her own security detail, and her being so warm and welcoming towards me. This person was imnotaguestimagirl (Lilly - Leader of a Vortex Security). She then offered me a job as her Deputy White House Chief of Staff after discussing various things. I humbly accepted and got to work. I was in charge of collecting cabinet reports and communicating with the administration for Lilly, so she could then forward them to Moolah60. It was a very fun job, and I met many new friends while in the White House. A month into the job, another job offer was laid on the table for me - Deputy Secretary of State. The State Department was in shambles, and Lilly needed someone qualified to help the Secretary of State: So she turned to me for help.
After much thought and decision, I handed in my resignation as Deputy White House Chief of Staff, and embarked towards the State Department as its newest Deputy. The Secretary of State at the time, deceptional, was viewed as a corrupt official with many lawsuits against him. It was so bad - that there was an impeachment against the Secretary of State in Congress. Despite deceptional being so hated by many, he was very welcoming to me. He taught me all about foreign affairs, and introduced me to nation leaders. Deceptional and I bonded and became friends, becoming a very close partnership. However, with only a week under my belt as Deputy Secretary of State, Deceptional abruptly quit NUSA and left. His corrupt antics unfortunately was too much to continue serving as Secretary of State, so he chose to leave all together. Leaving me alone with a State Department in chaos. I had no idea what was going to happen next.
Lilly approached me and told me that President Moolah60 wanted me to become the next Secretary of State, the first female to hold the position. This was a smart move by the President at the time since I was a well admired fresh face with a clean slate. I was honored by this, and quickly passed Congress with a clean 9-0-0 vote with barely any contesting. I quickly reformed the State Department and made the Department active once again, with members visiting Washington frequently. I implemented a special ambassador system - which is still used today in NUSA. It was the first time in ages that the Department was alive. New rises, leads to new falls.
Ozzymen, a notorious clan leader and hacker at the time, keylogged Nightgaladeld and stole NUSA. He gave NUSA to Moolah60 - who refused to give it back. NUSA entered a dark time with Moolah60 controlling the entire government, including Congress and the judicial branch. Any opposition led to them being exiled. Work continued as normal in the State Department, but there was a rebellion group owned by Nightgaladeld that wanted to the group to be returned to Night. This effort was led by NUSA Veteran Smoothie71. I was saddened to realize that the NUSA coup was made by Speaker of the House Wowgnomes, Moolah60, Vice President Logan, and Lilly herself. I was especially devastated when I realized my old mentor and friend, Lilly, was involved with the coup. I expected so much better than her, but I guess like everyone else in NUSA - Power can do certain things to people.
Three months later - Nightgaladeld regained control of NUSA with the help of ROBLOX moderators. Every high official in his rebellion were placed as clan managers, and everyone apart of the Moolah60 administration was EXILED for treason. Very few weren't exiled - and that included me. I was thrown in Federal Prison temporarily and awaited to see what would happen. Night appointed his close friend and former Moolah60 Attorney General, Marinio, as interim President (Marinio left the administration after his account was compromised, and joined the Night rebellion group). Luckily for me, he was a close friend of mine, and he came to speak with me at the State Department HQ as I was in prison still. He told me he wanted to keep me on as Secretary of State, and that he knew I wasn't involved with Moolah60's antics - That I was just doing what I felt was right for the country.
I was basically in tears because I expected my entire NUSA career to be demolished for choosing to stay in NUSA, and not join the rebellion. I was so grateful towards President Marinio for allowing me to stay on.
The government was in shambles, and the time had come to pick up the pieces that was destroyed by Moolah60. Only until more trouble started brewing during the Marinio presidency. |
