Legitimate question of mine. It doesn't make sense to call it a holo if not every training center is holographic..

most groups have them, or the world "holo" is trying to monopolize the training center name business.

The alternative would be to have 50 different maps and 50 different teams, which is a bit spammy and laggy

if it wasnt holographic, youd have a crap ton of maps at once

"A hologram (pronounced HOL-o-gram ) is a three-dimensional image, created with photographic projection."

So how does that relate to spawning maps? You can spawn maps without something appearing "holographic"

A holo is a training center that spawns maps instead of a bunch of maps being in the workplace Ask anyone

Yeah it's called a holo because that's what it's called why are you making everything so complicated you aren't going to change anything The idea behind it is that you can make one map appear at a time and then make it disappear just like a hologram or whatever

back when holo's weren't a thing, training centres were when holo's slowly began to be introduced, they were like the next gen training centre, and weren't very common. obviously, they were called a holo over time they became far more common and would really be what you'd see if a group had a training centre, hence the general reference of holo
