Hello, citizens, I am Gunnnerr, a first time House member and a very involved citizen in the State of Rockport. I have been in Rockport ever since it was first created back in 2013. I have been interested in the Rockport government, and I haven't been apart of it since I resigned as Chief Court Justice. Today, I am here to inform you (the citizens of Rockport) as to why I'm the best choice for SoTH.
I can assure you that I will be an active SoTH, who not only is active but is known for an impact. I will not let power go through me. I will give back to the people. Please, take another moment to think about, Gunnnerr, as Speaker of the House. It's up to you (the voters) to whether or not you want something done in Rockport or not.
I am a former Chief Court Justice and a current House member. Some of my main focuses that I would like is making sure my House members know what they're getting into as reps, constructing bills to remedy the conflicts that weaken Rockport to this day, and most importantly, doing all of this whilst keeping my place. The Speaker position is a huge responsibility, but I can assure you that I will fulfill my duty with this position. I will take things slow and do what I'm supposed to do as the Legislative Branch Head.
Many of you voters know what I'm running for, but for those who don't, let me fill you in. The speaker of the house is the head of the Legislative branch but shows the most jurisdiction over the House of Representatives. The speaker hosts meetings debates on the floor and is the last step of impeachments. It is seen as a high role and has only had a few successful holders. My job isn't only to make legislation but to also help supervise the Rockport Legislation trello and keep track of my Representatives affairs.
It was fun to explain my standings on how this job works, but unfortunately, this speech has to come to a close. I hope that stating my focuses, knowledge of my job, and standings on what the Speaker should do has enlightened you voters of who is the best choice for your Rockport SoTH.
