Andrew Marek was born on Empire Day 20 BBY on Cor elia . He was orphaned by age 7 after his parents were killed by a rebel bombing and lived on the streets until the Imperial Invasion. A jedi was hiding out and Lord Vader was personally sent to end her. Vader eventually defeated her, but unknown to him Andrew was watching everything from behind a corner of a building. Vader sensed his presence, but assumed it was the jedi's master until Andrew accidentally force grabbed Vader's saber. Vader realized this boy was extremely powerful in the force and took him in to the Inquisitor ius. Vader secretly taught him advanced techniques like force choke when he was still an initiate hoping to groom him into a way to kill the emperor. Vader knew that the other Inquisitors were either too weak or had complete loyalty sworn to the emperor (Like Darth Kolt ress) Vader however was forced to cut off his personal training with the now dubbed Rift because the Emperor was sensing his powers grow immensely. Vader did however still give Rift lessons from time to time and by the end of the battle of Mala chor Rift achieved the rank of Lord by the emperor himself. With Kolt ress being given assignments by the Emperor instead of Vader Lord Rift quickly became Vader's favorite inquisitor for uses like assassination to escorting the dark lord himself on personal jedi killings. They both however did form a strange relationship of father and son for Vader raised Rift and Rift reminded Vader of himself physically and personality wise. They had a deep respect for each other which lasted for their lifetimes. Rift was present for the battle of Scarif as he initially went down on the surface to deal with the rebels, but in the late battle flew up as fighter reinforcements because the shield gate went down. After the battle of Scar if Rift tried to hone his skills more and advanced far greater than a normal inquisitor. The emperor however was worried about his growing power and assigned him to Kolt ress to hopefully use the Dark Lord to keep him informed if Rift plans to betray him. Rift and Kolt ress however became friends and the Dark Lord convinced the Emperor eventually that he could be trusted to be completely trained like himself. So eventually right before Endor Rift was named a Darth and learned force lightning. He and Kolt ress weren't present for Endor however as they were sent to destroy an ancient temple that was weakening the dark side. Kolt ress took the military command of the empire from Vader after Endor and then they fought against the new republic. The hit and run tactics of the empire were brilliant however they were unfortunately caught off guard at Jak ### Rift was injured badly at Jak ## and his wounds were infected by the sand. He however managed to face off against Luke Skywalker though it was a draw as another sand cloud infected Luke's wounds forcing him away from the battle. Rift stuck with Kolt ress and together they found a cargo shuttle with some bac ta to heal themselves. Still exhausted the two made their final stand for the empire when a tank opened up the cargo shuttle. Eventually an X-Wing kept making dive bomb and firing at them weakening Rift and supposedly killing Kolt ress (even though he thought the same for Rift and escaped) Rift enraged but exhausted made a final attempt to bring it down and he damaged it enough for it to have been recalled. The battle was over and Rift was left lying in the sand exhausted physically and psychologically. A month later Rift escaped on a cargo ship and made his way to a bounty hunter group called the Rogues where he met Emma Colt who he eventually married and had a son with who will continue the fight and his legacy in The First Order Roleplay. Rift eventually dies peacefully with his wife at age 90 and his ghost has a fun time in Sith Heaven. That was Andrew Marek's story.
