i'd rather have an exciting, hyped clan world with clans that >potentially< make jokes out of themselves and build off of their mistakes than a lowkey clan community that makes everything a bore
and hyping a clan up doesn't always have the same end resolution that you're talking about; even if it does it still ends up helping the clan world in more ways than not; ways that none of us really have the ability to notice
everyone seems to consider hype to be a "bad thing" even though it can be perceived in many different ways
