The TSE Imperial Intelligence Standard Issue Taser may only be used by Intelligence Officer+. Due to the dangerous and volatile nature of this weapon, the restrictions on use are as follows:
The Stun feature of the Taser is only to be used if a detainee has escaped or is attempting to run.
If a Detainee is resisting arrest you may tase the detainee.
Resisting arrest is concluded by the Detainee harming you or others in an attempt to escape.
Officers are to use the Black taser color at all times.
The kill feature of the Taser is ONLY to be used in dire situations. Such as if someone of importance is being attacked by the Detainee. People of Importance are referred to as Moff+ and the Dark Council. Always make sure that what you are witnessing is an actual attack and not a duel.
Certain exceptions are liable for punishment and disciplinary actions against rowdy or continually unresponsive troopers.
Tasers are to be used for stopping unauthorized personnel from entering such areas. (i.e. CC at Sinox, I.I. Area at Marr, certain areas at Yavin, etc.)
Tasers are NOT to be used on hostiles at any time.
The Kill feature of the Taser is NOT to be used on visitors.
Taser are only to be used if cuffs are insufficient to catch a wanted TSE member.
Tasers are a tool, not a crutch. Treat them as such.
The mute feature is only to be used when applicable. Such as spamming troopers, those who have repeatedly insulted others, or are causing mass amounts of disrespect.
Due to the heavy responsibility required to wield a Taser, punishments for doing so are as follows:
First offense:
Suspension from I.I for a week
Meeting with the Director as to what you did wrong and how to avoid it next time
Second Offense:
Three week suspension from I.I
Demotion to Agent
Meeting with the Minister as to what you did wrong
Third Offense:
Indefinite suspension from I.I
Internal Investigation into your activities and abuse of the Taser
Possible expulsion from I.I
Meeting with the Minister and the Director as to how things will proceed.
Demotion to Senior Operative
Fourth Offense:
There will be no fourth offenses.
Further Rules and Regulations or edits are liable to be made at a later time by the Minister of Intelligence or Deputy+ with approval from the Minister of Intelligence.
