I don't like the majority of mainstream music but I do like some of them It's just that when I hear mainstream music on the radio and they play the same crappy tunes that don't please me I get annoyed. |

Honestly baiting is a form of bullying and shouldnt exist.

By definition the good stuff rises to the top so anything that isn't mainstream is automatically bad. Why would anyone go underground if the only stuff that's there is bad? |

Eh for me it depends on the artists, a lot of it's bad but not all of it. But if you say not liking mainstream music is boring, you know what else is boring? Following the all mighty dollar to a well of broken promises and songs people will forget, which will also happen to you. Eventually, people will forget you. |

hip hop - thats the same thing is rap

when i say mainstream music is repetitive (or tends to be) i mean that a lot of it follows the same chord progressions, song structures, etc.
which is perfectly fine as for most people, those chords and song structures work just fine - mainstream music wouldn't be mainstream if that wasn't the case
