I know I'm not here often, but I figured I'd throw a couple stories in here:
FC Dallas released today that club midfielder/defender Ryan Hollingshead was involved in a car accident on Friday, December 6th. Ryan was helping out a stranded motorist and was struck directly by a car caused by the icy road conditions. He suffered three cervical vertebrae fractures and will not require surgery. He will, however, be in a neck brace for six to eight weeks.
Reports from ############### say that the Edmonton Oilers will be using this year's third jersey as their primary jersey next year when the NHL switches from Reebok to Adidas jerseys. The orange jersey was unveiled last year when the Oilers picked Connor McDavid first overall in the draft. It was worn off and on the rest of the season, as well as their first game in Rogers Arena, and the Heritage Classic against the Jets earlier this year. Also in that article, reports are that the Wild have not decided whether they will go with red or green in 2017-18. |
