Welcome, this is the offical radio codes. [ SECTION 1 - STATES AND CODES ] In this section, you will learn the codes and states to use when transmitting messages. These are mandatory and a vital skill. STATES: State 0 = Emergency, Officer Needs Assistance State 1 = On Duty State 2 = Available / Resuming patrol State 3 = Available / In Office State 4 = Refreshments State 5 = En route to incident State 6 = At scene State 7 = Committed but deployable State 8 = Unavailable and not deployable State 9 = Prisoner escort State 10 = At court State 11 = Off duty State 12 = Confidential message State 13 = Call back State 14 = Urgent call State 15 = Received State 16 = Repeat Example: "This is Echo Keilo 241, we've got an IC1 male, all units needed: State 0." [ SECTION 2 - RULES IN COMMUNICATION ] When transmitting messages to fellow officers, it is important to respect them and be professional. We have several rules in place to make sure that corruption isn't seen: - When transmitting messages, you will transmit your message in a calm manner. - Transmit messages in the correct format and using correct codes. - Swearing, bullying, abuse and other hurtful messages are NOT permitted. - Be respectful to other officers; if not, you will be suspended from duty.
