void
raa
csp
all those forum clans
than it is crap |
I can agree but I cannot agree with raa because it has been around much longer than 2 months lol |
void has lasted years before, pretty much the only time void went into extended downtime was when we shifted to a different name/theme like arcen or tza or when someone did something to nick e.g. ##### ## #### him then give his clan and CC info away |
correction,
It was* around |
oh crap yeah I totally forgot nick had void early on in my clan career
jesus so yeah
raa and void are both exempt from this |

having a clan sit there doing nothing for years doesn't make it 'last'
raa dies every month. it stirs a bit of a drama, raids a couple of bases, and dies.
same case for void. altair is trying to say that the reason is because they would shift clans, but he forgets to mention that the reason for the shifts in the first place is because the hype would die and they would need to look for a new way to hype things up. |
that's not true at all though, here are why our clan shifts happened --
1. we shifted from V O I D to Arcen because Diablo 3 came out and nick was obsessed with the idea of having a angelic/demonic themed clan
2. we shifted back to V O I D because nick got over Diablo
3. WoW patch 5.4 came out and Jess and Nick broke up so he quit to play WoW
4. after playing WoW and us running a guild we came back on alts to make Tza and based it on WoW |
shifted back to V O I D because VAK was raiding Tza a lot but Nick wanted to beat them with V O I D for some autistic reason |
why is raa and void on this list tho |

if void was doing well and was active it wouldn't have been shifted to another group
shifting any organization to another is fundamentally a poor strategic decision when the organization performs well. this applies on all levels, be it roblox or real life. it only makes sense to scrap the organization you are currently in and shift over to something new when it performs poorly, since this presents it with an option to out maneuver some of the difficulties faced by the group through re branding.
void is born from hype and depends on hype for its existence. when it doesnt get enough hype, iso tries to spur hype again by moving to a different group or announcing a big event. hence why iso shifted to so many different clans throughout the years.
not to mention the most obvious argument of all, which is that void isnt arcen and tza isnt void. void is void. |
you're expecting us to be rational but when we were shifting around a lot nick and i were like 14 |

even if it were true it doesn't refute the second big argument |

the status it's in now doesn't matter

i dont think so. pretty sure it was set up for demo. even if it did release the base wasnt active for more than a week |
V O I D wasn't always that way though, and I've always disagreed with letting the C&G rabble into the clan. It used to be that Nick went to the group plaza, recruited a handful of people, then we raided and recruited off the clans we raided. We got active in the first place by embarrassing TRA and stealing their members in the process. It was only a year and a half or so later with Arcen that we found success by spamming the forums. I don't remember you from C&G from back then so I don't know if you remember, but we used to coordinate spam so the entire front page was filled with Arcen mentions. We ended up being able to rally like 30-40 people consistently in a clan of ~150 members with pretty much no barriers to joining. This flipped a switch in Nick's head, and when we went back to V O I D we held an activity check and exiled around 2,000 members that we didn't deem as active enough. That was when we transformed into the hype cycle V O I D.
V O I D nowadays does use a certain amount of hype, but Nick is smart enough to supplement it if it doesn't work. If there is 1 thing I can tell you about him it's that he gets (stuff) done. If we don't rally 30 people every event, Nick takes it personally and recruits through other means, especially the group plaza. If you think we use hype as a crutch, you're wrong, and even more wrong if you think it was always that way. |

NoAliasJoin Date: 2008-04-25 Post Count: 10116 |
yeah but your base didnt last for a week nonetheless 2 months. csp was a big flop because it recruited from the forums. let it be a lesson in case you ever decide to open your own clan in the future. those who depend on the forums bound to fail. the bigger the hype the harder the fall.

you don't only use hype as a crutch but your entire clan structure depends on it
you are in effect perpetuating it as a viable model to the rest of the clan community which hurts us all and kills your clan over and over again. iso is incapable of building up void in any other way and youve limited yourself greatly by clinging to him despite the traps repeatedely he sets himself up for |
