If the mesh is a FileMesh it should have the option to rotate the mesh on the xyz axi, because let's face it. When you want the top of a mesh to point in the same direction as the TopSurface of the brick it's inserted into, it's not happening because there's no mesh rotation option.

It's easy, goto wiki.roblox.com it will tell you how

I knew nobody would understand what I was talking about. It's not as simple as rotating the brick. Sometimes it, to make a zombie or other model with a mesh in it that moves or follows you or does other things, may require the brick itself to point up and forward. If the mesh does not point up and forward then it looks very awkward. I've noticed some meshes such as the boomerang, the front of the boomerang is actually the TopSurface of the brick and the top of the boomerang is the BackSurface. If the mesh surfaces do not point in the same directions as the brick then it looks very awkward in some scripting cases. I think the best example would be the Ring mesh. I noticed that for this mesh the FrontSurface of the brick shows the top of the mesh while the RightSurface shows the back of the mesh. Adding a MeshRotate option will solve this problem fast and easy, while scripting simply cannot solve it.

Change the CFrame of the brick. That's all you need to do. --Help Support :D-, we are here to help!--

I'm not sure I should even bother replying to this anymore since even after I explained what I was talking about nobody could understand it. Why do I even bother talking to kids anyway. I'm definitely done caring. -.-

CFrame much?

You can force a brick to point any way you want through the use of CFraming. Stop calling us immature, when we told you how to do it, and that its possible. Learn to script and build before you criticize the masters' criticism.

Oh, you mean like for example make a tilted wedge mesh that points up as topsurface? Not bad. I wanted to do that for a LONG time.

Jeremjay24 so far you're the only one who knows what I'm talking about. These idiots keep talking about using CFrames like everybody knew how to use them. Not to mention it doesn't solve the MESH problem.

@Neleous that would be cool @xiaoxiao181 I get what you mean. I tried making a zombie for someone with the boomer mesh but when you put the mesh in its backwards so the zombie follows you, with the front of it being the back of the mesh.

Neleus this thread has nothing to do with players. It's about meshes.

I think he means "rotating meshes." You could already CFrame with that, but I don't know about detecting where the camera points, lol. Wait... I think EVERYONE who disagreed with this thought it like that...

I'm assuming you didn't mean rotating meshes when you said CFraming the meshes. There are no properties on mesh that distinguish the top or bottom. If an items has no top or bottom, then it can't be turned. The best we can do so far is making the size of the meshes negative numbers, which does indeed flip them upside down and backwards, but it also flips them inside out, so it kinda makes it pointless.

So you can turn a mesh around, without turning the brick? If I can do that I can make Roblox's First ever motercycle THE BEST

I have the same problem you have. When I try to get a NPC to wear a hat, it comes on backwards, yet when i use the exact same giver, it works fine. Is this a ROBLOX glitch or something? I really need this NPC to be wearing a hat the right way otherwise it won't be worth using.
