Unable to install ROBLOX (Win. 8.1)

For about a week now, the RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe has been unable to properly install. It gets to the "Configuring ROBLOX" stage then simply crashes. I've done everything I could think of to fix it, including uninstalling Roblox and any of the leftover files from my PC, but nothing I've tried has worked thus far. Any suggestions?

i am on windows 10 and it still doesn't work, Roblox keeps telling me to download it and no matter how many times i've tried to download it it still doesn't work
