You might complain. that Sdl is missing, or that the servers are in unplayable lag levels, 2 reasons why
if you played before the update, there was a Ping problem, which currently is being solved during the Maintenance, unlike the other times this month, this spike was insane, and probably one of the worst Ping I've ever experienced
Now if you got an "update" and can no longer play, it is due to an update that affected injector programs, those are usually spotted when you see a .ddl at the end, these are sometimes utilized by hackers and exploiters, rc7, v3million, Elysium, WOLF, and also Nopde use these injectors to (basically ruin the fun in roblox)
They're probably tinkering with ddl detectors or something right now, but it can be predicted that this update will take aim upon exploiters
for now lets all freak on and panic on how bad the update is

DLLs are not used for exploits 100% of the time, its simply a bunch of code that can be called on by the program whenever needed. Used usually in c++, I don't think they'd run into an issue of blocking all DLLs. If they were doing something like messing with which DLLs are blocked from being injected then they would forcefully take down the whole site for maintenance. Ping problems didn't happen for everyone. I'm assuming instead of changing which lines of code block roblox from running, instead they implemented a new feature in-game of sorts and simply forgot to put the new DLL in the update automatic downloader.

they all have .exe or .dll
Roblox isn't one to be mega specific
also .dll programs are allowed to be hidden within .exe programs
well not hidden, just put there

Not currently as ROBLOX only as the fully updated code for the DLL, In which due to security issues you shouldnt be able to connect to games with a different versions, hence why you dont see many, if and custom launchers for roblox.

Dlls are called dynamic link programs (well, kind of)
they form links basically with other programs, like plugging a usb into a computer
I have NEVER seen a dll program be used by itself, since it's like a bridge, it's more better at connecting programs together
I cant imagine a bridge with nothing to connect the sides
a falling bridge?
Anyways I have no idea what happens when you dynamic link a dynamic link

dll are used in steam, counterstrike and many other pc games.
Not necessary only use for exploit.
And it has been explained clearly by Xenh and LUMPYCRAIGONIAN

Here's something to point out and please tell other people
DO NOT DOWNLOAD SDL.DDL ITSELF YOU WILL DOOM YOURSELF
there is an incredibly high chance of a scam
Most programs like roblox and steam already come with it
you are legit downloading a virus instead of a sdl program
and since most malicious software have .ddl at the end (or .exe) it can easily hide under the .ddl name |

Because right now probably almost a million players are waiting to play roblox
what would happen if so many joined instantly?
they'll probably believe it will be fixed tomorrow

Copy the SDL2.dll from the old version
Paste it to the newest version

I can admit that I used to exploit on ROBLOX, but that was a long time ago. I matured up from that.
