Allow developers to have more freedom with their games. Roblox should be a game engine, not some piece of garbage that's only marketed towards kids. Age restrict games with custom chat to 13+ if that's the case because most of us hate children anyway. It's children who make the community worse because of their lack of knowledge |

ROBLOX needs to realize that if kids, teenagers, and adults play this game, they need to be able to appeal to ALL the people that play this. Of course, mature games would need to be age-restricted for legal reasons, but other than that, the older members of our community need to have at least a little more freedom with what they can create. |

This kind of problem is ruining roleplaying games because of the kids who don't have any common sense coming in with terrible Original Characters and destroying any attempts at constructing a cohesive narrative with other users. |

After Cul De ### closed and AiM got their custom chat fixed, the quality of roleplaying games just went south. Most older users rely on these games because there's nothing left on this vapid and uninteresting site except typical shooters and grindfest mmorpgs. |

It's been five long years, it's time to give developers more freedom to target their games towards an older audience. When games continue to have their freedoms removed, older members of the community leave because they see that the site is going towards a direction that they don't agree with.
Most of the older users on this site are also the ones that contribute to it mostly by buying content for the games they enjoy with their own money. Continuing to restrict these games will cause the company to lose most of its profits due to a dedicated portion of its community leaving. Tickets were already removed, but that is just the start of bad decision making that ill make others turn away from this site. In fact, most older users now look towards alternative Roblox games instead because of how downhill things have gone. |

Roblox? Lose its paying community? Nahhhhh. And I highly doubt it will lose much of the non-paying community either. What it will lose is those people who are too smart to keep getting fed their BS. |

The in game roleplaying community is struggling with this issue which is why it's dying a slow and eventual death. The only way to keep it alive is to stop punishing older users when they have no other quality games to play. |

I support this. Games should be allowed to have a custom chat, just for the sake of letting people speak. If ROBLOX doesn't want us to have custom chat, we should at least have a chat system that won't censor every single thing that has the slightest chance to be taken offensively. The chat needs to change.
I disagree with the statement that people here hate children. I don't have anything against children, and neither do most of my friends here, but rather noobs. Noobs (not to be confused with newbies or "newbs", who are just inexperienced players) are ignorant and obnoxious.
To clarify the previous statement of mine, here's the average newbie asking for help:
"how do i do this?"
Here is the average noob in the same situation:
"omg wth u r a hacker!!!!! reported for hacking!!!"

I support this, as though it truly is a let down that Roblox would do all of this. A long time ago, it was fine, but Roblox has sort of fallen off the block and become a company based around money and nothing less, removing safe chat for 13+ would be a big help, and probably spark me to actually play this a bit more.

It's not a kid's site. Roblox is a game engine that the company made for developers to create whatever they wanted as long as it abides by the terms of service, but now developers need more freedom so they can keep their dying roleplaying games afloat. |

it actually says in the ToS to keep it age appropriate, and custom chat doesnt do that when it has no filter on it
