Petition - Reopening of the Bureau of Internal Supervision.
My fellow citizens of India, as many of you may already know, BIS was removed as an agency not too long ago. This petition aims to reopen BIS as an agency to maintain order and limit corruption in India.
The Holders decided to shut down BIS as, according to them, it had become "useless" as CBI was doing the same thing. However, this is simply not the case. Like the United States of America, we just had two similar agencies. CBI can be equated to the USA's CIA while BIS would be our version of the FBI. In the absence of BIS, many have been able to get away with many crimes and wrongdoings, like our previous president, IvanGlasenberg. He was able to commit over a dozen crimes before receiving proper punishment. It's important to recognize that CBI only gathers information, interrogates, and serves as a second police force in New Delhi. On the other hand, BIS prosecutes criminals and participates in the removal of corrupt government officials. While the two are similar in a few ways, they are not to be confused for the same thing.
One may suggest "Why don't we just give CBI these responsibilities?" Well, it would just be too much on one agency. If it was that easy, we could just give one agency all the responsibilities of IP, SPG, CBI, BIS, and what not. Of course, we can't do that, though, as that would be too chaotic.
If BIS is reopened, not only will the JB be made active, India will see a significant decrease in corruption.
