Hello Citizens of Firestone,
I, OfficerVideoGame, officially announce my running for re-election to the Senate position. Let me explain to you why I want this position. I was one of the first 10 senators elected to serve Firestone in The Chamber of the Firestone Senate, and I want to return after being Governor and Lt. Governor. Due to me vacating my previous office to ascend to a higher one in order to serve Firestone, I lost my Senator rank. But, let me talk about some of my experience in the senate. My Pleas bill, the first ever bill presented in the Senate, and first legislation presented in the House, gave Firestone Citizen the right to plea in a court case. It was one of the first bills signed, after minor tweaks made in the house. I presented about 18 total pieces of legislation (at least that's what's on my google drive, as the Firestone Legislative Trello board was hijacked by former Speaker of the House Neostic). I reached out to citizens and took some bill suggestions, having them help write the bill along the way, so they could get what they want to be passed. I grew from being able to communicate and talk with other citizens, legislative officials, and law enforcement officers. However, my activity severely dropped in activity as school started. Hit hard by homework, I had little to no time for Firestone, or anything ROBLOX related. I got active right around mid-October, and later witnessed one of the worst events in Firestone's history, Kolibob becoming Governor. Of course, he appointed me as his Lieutenant, and I served for about a week before he went rogue. He had to be removed by Co-Founders due to abuse. I then kept his promise of a referendum to host Governor Elections, I wanted the citizens to get what they want, and they did. Kolibob though was power hungry. The day leading up to the events was a huge swing in why I and the cabinet thought that was an attempt to hijack Firestone. But once he became Governor it was very self-evident he wanted it all to himself. I honestly had no interest in being Governor, but now I kinda do (foreshadowing a campaign????). As stated before, I continued the referendum. It passed and I promoted a smooth transition to The_Envelope and pathwaysbball. So here I am, running to where I, and my heart, think I belong. The Firestone Senate.
My Agenda:
My Agenda is simple. Listen to the people, and pass the urgent issues. Returning to the Senate, an honor, but most of all, a duty. I promise to communicate to citizens via Discord DMs, Discord group chats or ROBLOX PM. I will respond to all DM’s and PM’s in no later than a week. I will continue to attempt to pass gun legislation, allowing for a system that will be easy, while giving many job opportunities. The gun legislation (which can be found here: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=199053222) would have opportunities for the State and County. I will plan to get that bill to pass the House, as it has been failed all 2 times it was presented there. But the bills are really for the people. I want to focus a bit more on the people this term. Have polls a day or so before the next session and have people vote if they really don’t like it or really support a bill on the docket. That’s my personal goal. Include the people more, and just follow what Firestone needs.

If you want your voice to stay in Firestone, vote for OfficerVideoGame. I plan to continue making Firestone THE best State on ROBLOX.
