ODST Rank Guide How to join the ODST's: Attend a tryout (Success rate: 65%) Be active Requires you to be in the Marine Corps Recruit: You have been accepted into the Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, well done. Right now, you can only wear the basic armour. To be put into a Battalion, you must attend a training. Battalion III/II/I If you have been put into a battalion, that means who have passed the basic training for ODST. You can be commanded by your Battalion leader or a HR. You drop from the skies in a pod into battle. Battalion III/II/I Leader You have been chosen by the ODST General to lead a Battalion. You have achieved the rank of Master Sergeant of the Marine Corps in order to achieve this. The requirements for this rank is: Battalion III: Sergeant Major Battalion II: Second Lieutenant Battalion I: First Lieutenant ODST Officer You were given this rank because you have attended the training, however, your rank is an Officer's rank in the Marine Corps, and you have not been assigned to a Battalion Leader rank. ODST Assistant Commander You have been chosen to lead any Battalion of the ODST's and help the Commander with anything he needs help with, because you are reliable. The required rank for this role is Colonel. ODST Commander You have been chosen by the Security Committee to become the Commander of the ODST's because you are active, reliable and very good with weapons. You can also host tryouts. The minimum rank for this is Brigadier General.
