My Dear Italians,
Today I come to you with a plea for change. For too long this group has fallen at the hands of corrupt leaders, but no more. Now is a time of strife, persecution, and political rivalries, but this is not the way it is meant to be. Democracy is meant to allow opposing ideas and viewpoints to thrive, not to allow a select group of "politicians" to oppress groups and subgroups that are important to Italy (example: ITAF and GOI). Under my administration, I promise that Italy will prosper, not just with activity, but with actual structure. My plans are as follows:
- Council will be split into two separate groups
- The first group will be the Senate (the Italian Legislature) which will decide all laws of the land (other than Supreme Court decisions and Executive Orders)
- The second group will be Cabinet which will no longer be part of Council as Executive Ministers, who are not elected, should not decide the laws of the land
- The Cabinet will be nominated to the Senate by the President and must receive a simple majority to be approved, but the President may dismiss Cabinet Ministers and Deputies as he pleases
- The Prime Minister will be elected separate from the President
- The Prime Minister will serve as a servant to the President and as the Chairman of the Senate
All this in the name of Italy.
