Unoversity of Indiana(bloomington)* University of Tennessee(Knoxville and Chattanooga) * Vanderbilt University Christian Brothers University (yes, seriously) Samford University Washington University in St. Louis Bards College at Simon's Rock University of Chicago Obviously I only actually have a shot to get into a few of these. It made me excited and anxious when I finstalled started getting these letters/emails. I'm going to make a choice that will impact my life and career in 2 short years. *Indicates colleges I actually have an interest in going to.

University of Chicago, Washington University in St. Louis, and Vanderbilt University are all hard ## #### to get into. Indiana, however, is a school that is fairly easy to get into and is pretty highly ranked and reputable

What's weird is that neither of my brothers got anything from Vanderbilt while I've gotten a bunch of emails. Not that it means anything when it comes to actually getting accepted into college, but still kind of weird.

I found out why. So Vanderbilt up till recently had a very low acceptance rate for anyone in Tennessee. Vandy would try very little to get people from in state. The State Government was getting mad at Vandy. Vandy decided to recruit in state more.
