smh................................................................................................................... CHEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
@seacat
You might not realize it, but every team tries to take advantage of injured people; it can be a key factor. |
yet you yourself know that deflating and overinflating balls isn't a big deal. pick a side son. you can't pick a side then use an argument from the other side to back it up. |
Also, the patriots videotaped another team, AND had evidence against tom brady in delfategate. Ray Lewis had evidence that he murdered someone, and people didn't ignore that just because they were jealous, but because he was a stalemate of an entire defense. Why would you be jealous of murder? Try again?

allow me to quote you, son:
"convicted of cheating on the same scale as the patriots"
i didnt say whether or not inflategate was a big deal. im just providing an example of clear bias against the patriots. inflategate is equivalent to deflategate, yet most nfl fans havent heard about it |
if you were a real Seahawks fan you'd know that 1. Sherman was not forced to play the second half of the season 2. you would know that we would've lost a lot more games without his presence and leadership 3. you would know that we need this 2nd round pick to buffen up our o-line and get some more depth in our secondary |
This absolutely is a stupidly harsh punishment, especially considering how wildly inconsistent they are with the "failing to disclose an injury" punishment.
The other punishments for failing to disclose an injury:
Andrew Luck - no punishment
Redskins/Ravens/Bills - fined 20k each
Jets (Favre) - 75k fine
So the punishment for not disclosing injuries ranges from nothing to losing a second rounder in six incidents. |
zammy you said it perfectly. the nfl is a joke with punishments. know why the jets faced the severest penalty? cause favre was the biggest name |
who was the guy that they didn't report? |
but most NFL fans know that deflate gate isn't a big deal anyway, for starters.
and also, the Patriots are more known for cheating from SpyGate (which was actually a big thing) not DeflateGate. so this is why no one likes your team. because you're cheaters. |
scores of teams have been convicted of spygate. i can list examples if you'd like. thought the pats were the only one? more media bias |

you do realize the footballs have to be within a certain amount of pressure, not EXACT right? rodgers puts the balls to the highest pressure possible for it to be legal, brady on the other hand deflated the balls to a point where it was illegal

I don't even want to argue with this brick wall anymore.. shouldn't you be like buying weapons to light up your school or going to bed early to fail some more driving tests? |
alright, back out of the argument because youve been cornered into a no-win position. see ya! |

Bullygate
Bountygate
The Adrian Peterson scandal
The Ray Rice scandal
The Ben Roethlisberger suspension
The Ray Lewis arrest
The Michael Vick dog-fighting ring
The Eddie DeBartolo Jr. banishment
The Paul Hornung/Alex Karras gambling suspensions
The Plaxico Burress Gun Scandal
All major scandals that resulted in Consequences. Patriots don't get singled out man, they just cheat a lot and have some crappy people on their team.

have other teams been convicted of spygate in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP? and as sacred pointed out you aren't being singled out.. you're just oblivious to everything else that happens whereas when the Patriots get punished you act is if Christ was born again. |
spygate was a trend for multiple teams that occurred over a period of time, not one specific game |
Spy gate was the most overblown misconduct of sports via media since the OJ Simpson case
It is CONFIRMED the New York Jets did the same thing the year before spy gate to the patriots. It is highly stupid to think that what the patriots did was illegal, which was recording game signals, when it was because they recorded it AT THE WRONG section. game signals are broadcasted to millions of people, and may I add this act is STILL being carried out today. But nobody gets mad because they're recording the game seen by millions from a certain pov |
completely irrelevant to the argument. if a team is convicted of spygate in the regular season, of course it won't get that much media publicity compared to an AFC championship game... |
the patriots were never convicted of spygate in an afc chmpionship game you moron. it was a regular season game against the jets. get your facts straight or dont speak |
Spygate did not happen during an AFC Championship game, it happened in the middle of an undefeated regular season after the pats won by like 20 points.
Deflategate is a mere lack of understanding of Chemistry by the NFL's part. May I add not the first time they've denied scientific evidence *COUGH* Concussions *COUGH* |
