After complaining about update after update, I've come to the realization that I actually like the direction ROBLOX is heading. Despite the removal of Tix, the new logo, etc ( I could go on for ages), ROBLOX has improved overall.
Think about it, things are running smoother than ever, graphics are better, security is up on accounts, ROBLOX is becoming an immensely popular app, the layout looks super smooth and professional, R15 is a huge improvement, animation packages are going to be for sale, users will be able to make their own hats in the catalog (supposedly), and so on.
Yes, I know the downsides of this and how NBC's were put in a bad position with the Tix removal but think about it like this, even if you don't get free ROBLOX currency, the updates and functionality increases still benefit you and you have free access to MILLIONS of games and PROFESSIONAL GAME DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE. I was an NBC for a long while and I know your plight, but please try to be grateful.
As for BC, TBC and OBC members, I know you may hate all of the new 3.0's, the nooby free-modeled front page games, and I get that there's a certain nostalgia about the past and all of us will remember some fond memories of the time that once was.
But all of us were new once, and we need to teach them how to play the game, to not OD, to play good games. We need to come together. If we try to help each other and not hate each other, then who knows, maybe one day we will have taught the ODers and new players better, gotten fun and original games to be popular again, and we can just have fun.
I think it's time to move on and embrace the change. Make the cleaner ROBLOX design a chance for us to help each other and make a cleaner and less divided community.
Please, let's complain a little bit less and build a little bit more.

TD;LR We should stop complaining as much about what we don't have because ROBLOX is running smoother than ever, there's R15, etc not to mention we get access to millions of games and game development software. Focus more on helping ROBLOX move forward.
P.S. I wish Tix would come back but they're not, let it go... ;(

I completely agree. I mean, the removal of Tix was sad, (though I joined when it was no longer attainable), but we still get to enjoy playing MILLIONS of games, For free! I've been looking, searching, For a decent post ever since I had first posted on the Forums, and I think i've found one. I haven't heard about how users will be allowed to create their own hats for the catalog yet, But I'm sure if it happens, It will be great. I agree that the new R15 is awesome, And that ROBLOX Is getting better! |
