it's when people who appreciate the Confederate flag say this that I'm most amused. The flag that represents a rebellion that began due to the South's candidate losing the presidential election.

Ok, I ain't saying that the Civil War was simply caused by ####### like many middle school teachers, but that presidential election was the escalation of the South's anger over the country's political direction that's been going on for some time... Not unlike this last election.

Most conservatives are hypocrites. The U.S. constitution doesn't apply to them when they want to do something like Ban an entire faith from entering the U.S., which violates the 1st amendment. But when Obama makes an executive order, all they can talk about is how he "doesn't care about the constitution"

No literal interpretation of a holy book like the Bible, Quran, or the Torah will lead to a perspective that's consistent with the U.S. Constitution, man. History has proven that Muslims and Christians can be equally as brutal when they're illiterate and yet try to abide by a huge holy book. They're easily duped into believing the darnest things are religiously justified.

history has proven you have no grasp on the subject other than reiterating "muh equally brutal" but not actually looking at the facts and figures. Cultural relativism and assuming all religions are on equal grounds is complete nonsense, perhaps you should do some research on the islamic conquests into Europe and the ####### and destruction that followed.
