Much better than Canada's. Like it's celebrated by anyone who wants to be there, but in Canada it's in a small room, with only a select few chosen to be there.
Makes me wish Canada had a little more pride in our country. |

I wouldn't care at all if I got free healthcare |

Technically not free. Everyone pays for it through higher taxes.
I'd personally rather have the US healthcare system. |
|
|
I'd love to have my taxes going into healthcare instead of warfare, but that's just me. |

I'd rather see terrible human beings who chop off heads, and persecute people for their views get blown up from a drone. But that's just me. |

While the people you describe are detestable, they aren't our friends, neighbors, or countrymen. The Republic's first duty is to its citizens, then the world's. |

I'm Canadian
And op is the stupidest person I've seen all day |

Those citizens are apart of the world. There's always a threat with terror at the doorstep, so take it to them instead of having them on our soil. |

When you crush one extremist cell, another will pop up elsewhere. How long do you intend to bomb them? As long as they exist? They'll just keep coming back.
Fortifying our borders and taking care of our citizens are far more achievable than the one you've described. We will never completely eliminate foreign threats by using our bombs, they'll always sprout up again. We can, however, eliminate obstacles to universal healthcare in the US during our lifetime.

Even if an attack happens AT our boarders, there will still be mass casualties. Being in the middle east and other places helps deter terror from reaching north america. Keeps the fight in their country, where the problem should be contained. |
|
|
Contained how? You're not fighting an army, you're fighting a propaganda machine with cells capable of infiltrating nations around the world. Our wars in the Middle East didn't deter the attacks in Boston, Paris, or Berlin. Why would it start now?
This isn't a war you can win nor a threat you can contain. Increasing security on the homefront is the only way to protect the citizenry from these types of attacks.

Considering Canadians go to America for health care because issues with their system I'll consider myself lucky to not be socialist.

falsewarrior is the most competent person ive met with his views on the "war on terror" |

No country has ever benefited from prolonged warfare [Art of War]
Strategically speaking, it's a mistake to engage an enemy for this long. We radicalized the middle east with older wars and providing small factions with weapons so we didn't have to fight ourselves.
That was the US, that was the older generation. The way to fight terrorism and and terrorists is to let them build a country, a state. Let them gather in one place to practice their beliefs.
From there, 2 options.
Let them be pacified in the duties of Statehood and attack them when they've forgotten what war is (like the mainland US has)
or let them be pacified in the duties of Statehood and introduce Western culture once they can't continue their expansion. |

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
America's mistake is being quick to take sides.
