SECTION 11: DOMESTIC DEPLOYMENT
- Typically when a State of Emergency is called, the National Guard will be deployed. If this is the case, an alert will come out from the Commander or Major General stating specifically that the National Guard has been deployed.
- Deployment shall be State Jurisdiction; the National Guard may roam and patrol wherever needed unless otherwise stated.
- During deployment, the National Guard may respond to calls where they have been requested, or they see fit that the ongoing situation may turn violent, or law enforcement, or civilians may be injured.
- During a deployment, the National Guard will render aid to those in need, and assist in restoring order to any given scenario.
- It is requested that Law Enforcement agencies deal with the ‘Law Enforcement’ of the State or County, therefore National Guard personnel must call Military Police, or another Law Enforcement agency to deal with an arrest.
