I'm sick of this, Roblox.
In 2013, I was FINE with the current chat filter
It only censored swears.
And instead of hashtags it was [Content Deleted].
I was fine with that.
Just, perfectly okay with that.
I had literally nothing to complain about.
Then, in 2015/2016 or so, Roblox rolled out the hashtag chat filter.
Atleast it only censored users under 13.
But then, in 2016, Roblox decided to censor every user.
Every. Single. Flipping. Roblox user.
And in 2017 Roblox decided:
"Hmm, we've censored swears and offensive slang for all users.."
"WHY NOT GO FULL NORTH KOREA"
"AND CENSOR"
"NORMAL WORDS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE"
At this point, I am legitimately crossing my fingers for the slight possibility that the site will get DDOS'd again.
Revert back to the [Content Deleted] filter or there's more likely than not going to be a massive boycot of the site.
Is this what you want, Roblox?
Less players?
Do you want more people to quit Roblox?
Because that's what you're acting like.
Also, you're probably not going to read this because Roblox literally never listens to feedback. |

Why are you so anxious to say these censored words. This isn't a freedom of speech violation, its a kids website. Is bringing a 10 year old kid to an R rated film and getting kicked out censorship too? |

I have been on since 2007 (not my account of course) and Roblox filters out nearly anything that is remotely related to anything bad. I hate trying to censor my words past the point of regular. |

Mailed roblox about changing my accounts age back to over 13, (reason being was because stalkers trying to get me before so I changed my age so that people could do stuff to me or whatever), and they said quote on quote:

ROBLOX has gone too far. You can barely say any words, that aren't even swears! If you play an anime game, you can't even name yourself a Japanese name! I've been playing ROBLOX since 2011, I taught a martial arts school, lead a ninja clan, I role play a lot, I build a lot. I don't want to see my most favorite game fall! The censorship must be lowered, if not, maybe removed. The simplest of words can barely be said... Please ROBLOX, lower the censorship at least, or tons of players might quit... |

They will not remove the update, I already messaged them formally about it.
They said that it was there to stay and it will never be removed, no matter how many people boycott.
-Also, the reason it was updated to this was because of a mom who complained about her 8 year old daughter getting harassed. |

My account age is over 18, and it still happens.
Trust me, moving your account age up or having it up by default will not remove it. |
