I think we should allow spaces in usernames once again. It'll allow more customization to usernames and if scripting is the problem, there are ways to script the extra space. - Light

How about not allowing usernames that are similar to the existing username? For example, the system wouldn't allow "Wow ie" because "Wowie" is already taken. - Light
