** If you are here to apply for the United States Secret Service Academy Program, I STRONGLY suggest you read what is below in entirety and do not skip straight to the application! **
Due to my strong judgment that the Secret Service would operate much greater on an academy based employment system, I have decided to re-open the Secret Service academy and doing so means that I must allow applicants to join the Secret Service academy. However, my administration will not be doing this sloppy as which has been done by previous administrations and we will be running it with high standards and high hopes. The system will be later explained in this post.
With the need to employ agents that are competent, knowledgeable, and good at what they do, we feel the need to offer more training before accepting them into the United States Secret Service and this is the perfect way to do so. Before embarking on your journey into the United States Secret Service Academy Program, or the USSSAP for short, you will need to understand the following:
1. The academy will be operating on a two-week cycle, this meaning that the academy will accept applicants for 5 - 7 days and afterward will begin reading the applications. After the applications are read and sorted, the administration will choose up to 35 applicants, on a normal basis (which may be exceeded or decreased), to allow into the USSSAP and those applicants will be messaged and given up until the next day to join the academy group before training begins.
a. You will have only the two weeks that you are allotted to complete all 7 stages of the Secret Service academy, which will be further explained upon your acceptance.
b. If you fail to complete the academy in the two weeks that you are allotted, you will be removed from the group and forced to apply again should you wish to regain entry.
c. Each training session will take up a large amount of your time, it may range from 45 minutes to close to an hour and a half, possibly longer, it strictly depends on the class of applicants running through at the time and the skill of the instructor. So, therefore, if you do not wish to put forth the time to complete each session, turn back now.
2. After your two-week period is up, the academy will rest for two weeks. In the meantime, there will be two tryouts hosted for a special appointment in which two agents will pass and complete the academy program during that period of time with the same guidelines as above.
3. After you submit your application, you will be messaged with a waiver and necessary documents you must comply with to enlist in the USSSAP.
Now, as the Secret Service may gain an extraordinary amount of agents at any point in time, those that complete the academy while the amount of agents is high will be put on a waitlist. In the event that an agent is fired or resigns, the agent at the top of the waitlist will take their oath and get straight to duties. This completely fills the gap with agents already having a complete skill set and necessary training and is honestly one of the best ups of the academy.
During any time in which your application is still being submitted, please do not message administration of the Secret Service nor the academy administration to check the status of it, you can do this yourself at the application center in which it will tell you the status of it.
