This guide will tell the requirements, responsibilities, and powers of each rank. Know them.
An event is a training, raid, patrol, gathering or any other group activity that lasts at least 15 minutes.
Being promoted at an event counts separately to this guide.
Case Study:
Three or more sentences on a Star Wars lore topic. This means it can't be on the creators of Star Wars or when it was made but the actual lore in Star Wars. It can be a person, place, item, group, religion, species, or event. Do not write case studies on television episodes.
Examples (do NOT use these) are: Mace Windu, Coruscant, Blaster Rifles, The Jedi Order, The Jedi Path, Humans, The Second Jedi Purge/Order 66.
Example case study: Blaster Rifles
Blaster rifles are energy weapons common amongst the universe. They are more popular than traditional firearms as they use energy packs that can be recharged and fire bursts of plasma that can stun or kill depending on the setting. Blasters can be heavily modified and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Blasters are the most common weapon in the universe.

Force Sensitive
- Join the group
Youngling I:
- Purchase the uniform
or
- Attend one event
Youngling II:
- Have been a Youngling I for ONE day
- Attend a total of two events
- Study the Crystal Code
Youngling III:
- Have been a Youngling II for ONE day
- Attend a total of three events
- One of the events being the Gathering in which you gathered at least two crystals
- Study the Jedi code
Jedi Initiate:
- Have been a Youngling III for ONE day
- Attend a total of four events
- Study the three pillars
- Study the Je'daii code
Initiates may only become Padawans once taken by a Master (any Knight+ rank).
Jedi Padawan:
- Have a Master
- Attend a total of five events
- Receive a recommendation in at least one
- Revise all studies

Jedi Knight: [𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥]:
- Must have been a Padawan for at least FOUR days.
- Recite all four codes (Crystal code, Jedi code, 3 pillars, Je'daii code)
- Two case studies approved by a HR
- Approved combat proficiency demonstrated in three duels
- Show maturity and respect to other members of TJO.
Guardian / Sentinel / Consular are one rank, you choose which one to do.
Guardians focus on combat and lightsaber skills.
Consulars focus lore and knowledge.
Sentinels balance the other two paths.
Jedi Guardian: [𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 and 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥]:
- Be a Knight for THREE days
- Know the Seven lightsaber forms
- Demonstrate at least three lightsaber forms in dueling with your trial instructor
- Advanced proficiency with the lightsaber
- Write one paragraph explaining what the role of a Jedi Guardian is
Jedi Sentinel: [𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 and 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥]:
- Be a Knight for THREE days
- Know Five lightsaber forms
- Demonstrate at least two lightsaber forms in dueling with your trial instructor
- Moderate proficiency with the lightsaber
- Write one paragraph explaining what the role of a Jedi Sentinel is
Jedi Consular: [𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 and 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥]:
- Be a Knight for THREE days
- Know Four lightsaber forms
- Demonstrate at least one lightsaber forms in dueling with your trial instructor
- Have some proficiency with the lightsaber
- Two case studies approved by a HR
- Demonstrates serenity
- Explains what one line of the Jedi code means
- Write one paragraph explaining what the role of Jedi Consular is.
