For the past, say, 3 weeks I've been considering leaving Thomas' NCR. It had quite a lot of good memories, hosting and befriending a lot of people. I received a lot of opportunities here, and I managed to get myself Lt. General. While all that was great, I started to get burnt out.
For a few months, I was going pretty strong. I hosted every 1-2 days, and I've enjoyed them all. But, at the time, just about no one hosted with me. It's sort of like carrying a team while everyone else is AFK, you know? It was a lot like that to me.
For awhile now, since maybe the tenth, I've really slowed down. I used to resent the complete inactivity of higher command, as they really did so little in the grand scheme of things. But now, I've become what I used to find myself hating. Now, I just lack the time and willingness to do it. I'm managing other groups, and now the NCR has lost my focus.
The new guy on the block is TigerHunter. He's pretty similar to me when I had just become a colonel, carrying the group. I have a lot of respect for him. So, I feel like he has a good future ahead of him. Anyway, that's about it. He seems to really care about this group, so the best of luck to him.
Thanks for everything, guys.
