Rules are very important in the café community and family. This is to ensure everyone receives the best experience in the café and that all is safe and under control.
Staff Rules are important to ensure the café business is in good hands with the best quality service.
If any of the following rules are broken, it will lead to serious demotions.
Rules for Staff -
1)Be responsible. This means doing your job properly and being mature. Stay as active as possible and always use grammar & spellings accurately. Professionalism is important so make sure you start sentences with capital letters and end them with a full stop.
2)Be respectful. If you are a LR, be respectful to all customers, other LRs, MRs and HRs. If you are a MR, you are also expected to be respectful to LRs, all customers, other MRs and HRs. This is the same with HRs.
3)Be polite. It doesn't matter if a customer is being annoying, aggressive etc. Just stay calm and keep the professionalism going. NEVER shout or be rude to customers. This could cause severe consequences.
4)Do not free rank. Free ranking is promoting people just because you want to or they are your friend etc. People are promoted/hired for specific reasons. Interviews are the sessions for hiring people. Promotions are decided after tests, observations, hard work and high activity.
5)Do not ask for admin if you are lower than HRs. Do not ask for mod if you are lower than MRs. VIPs are only give to LRs.
6)Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear fancy, silly, scary, religious, political or bright clothing. This is work, not a party. So dress sensibly at all times. If you're not dressed properly you will be asked to change and if you disobey, you will be instantly demoted. If you're not sure if what you're wearing is suitable, feel free to ask a HR.
7)Do NOT AA (Admin Abuse)! This important because we do not want to distract, hurt or affect anyone negatively. If you are not sure if using a certain command is AA, please ask. If you want to use a command which is considered as AA, ask the Chairwoman first. The answer would most likely be a 'no.'
8)Do NOT ask for promotions.
9)If you have the ability to demote employees, do not demote them falsely. Valid reasons will be required otherwise consequences will take place. Same with falsely banning people.
10)Listen to all staff, especially the HRs. They are here to keep everything in control so do not retaliate, threaten or disrespect them.
11)Be friendly and inviting to all customers! :D
If the above rules are broken with numerous chances given, demotions will take place.
