Hello, people. I've noticed the complaining of the censor system around the forums, especially regarding around this one. I decided to take action and make a thread myself on the way to fix it. This is a series of suggestions concerning the censor system. This was made to fix our broken system. It's more like a tutorial with steps, and each suggestion is a step.
Now, let's begin.
Suggestion 1: Uncensor everything
Automatic deny? I think so, unless a smart roblox staff reads this. Swearing is a way to express ourselves throughout our lives, it's a way of saying we're mad or sad or even happy. You censor h0m()sxuality without considering who it affects. Really? Don't deny this, listen to the others.
Suggestion 2: Add a censor system that's optional.
No one cares about swears, some people do I propose a setting in the settings menu that can checkbox swears. ########### will 100% be censored, no matter the option. You see, ########### can be used against roblox and it's community. I can say that this option should be put in the signup,, as adults might get mad to see swearing on their child's screen, because the new players don't check their settings usually right after sign up.
Example:
Censor Swears *Checkbox*
Suggestion 3: 100% sweared, no matter the option.
I know, vu########### said it. But I want a bit more censoring, it'll be better.
You cannot swear on game titles, game comments (wait those were disabled), group names, any names for stuff in the library, shirts/pants/tshirts, etc.
That list got annoying, let me tell you what you can swear on. Group comments, forum posts, game chat, and messages.
Just some extras:
To censor instead of hashtags or [Content Deleted], we need a [CENSORED]. It knows when censored because I've seen people ask what [Content Deleted] meant, and hashtags too. People would understand [CENSORED] more, but content deleted is fine I guess? Anywho, this tomfoolery about the chat should end soon, we just need enough support.
Please know I respect your opinion and if I ask why, don't get mad. You simply didn't give a reason, and also while I discuss that, give a reason why you support/don't support.

hashtags really only affects people who have safechat

though I don't think EVERYTHING should not be filtered.
a majority of roblox players are just children and plenty of parents would be triggered at their kids for playing a game where you could swear in the chat
if roblox uncensored everything along with swearing then im pretty sure roblox would lose a lot of players

I think the option should only be available to accounts 13 or older, so little 5-6 year olds don't accidentally expose themselves to this language.

Heavily supported I agree with everything here except for the censorship toggle having no parental lock this could be fixed by needing a long distance communicator device's Numeric or secret word via digital male to unlock |
