Hello, citizens of the State of Docklands.
I have noticed something very unique about this Ro-Nation that is very uncommon in others, which is activity.
However, we have not been taking advantage of this to create a very professional, fair, and well-in-order nation.
Now, I'm not saying nobody does this. In fact, there are many individuals who do try their best to make sure everything's perfect.
However, it's just not working. There's too many free-ranked, unprofessional HRs who threaten to demote or exile you if you question one second of their professionality or way of working.
[Now, like most, I like to keep speeches short.
But unlike some, I don't use that as an excuse to do less work.
That's why this speech will have everything I plan to do fully added in it, with no later surprises. Anyways, back to the speech.]
There are also people who help out the free-ranked. (And in some cases, are even the ones who free-ranks them.)
However, free-rankers are not what I'm talking about. (I'll speak about that later.)
I mean people who know that someone did something that they should be punished for, but still find an excuse out of punishing them because of numerous reasons.
Now, I'll tell you firsthand that I've been one of those people before.
Looking at it, I remember being one today.
A good friend of mine (a real-life friend) attacked another citizen, and I witnessed it.
I was on the DPD team at the time, and I had all reasons and tools to arrest my friend for Attempted Murder.
However, when the victim respawned and went up to me, reporting the attack, I decided to lie, and tell him that I hadn't seen it and he required proof.
I did this just to avoid arresting my friend.
Again, looking back at it, I think I should've done something else.
I should've arrested my friend, and then spoken to him in the prison.
I'd have told him to not attack people and the consequences of doing so.
Not doing that - that's why people are calling Docklands corrupt.
Now I'll address the unprofessionality I mentioned near the start.
You see, there are some HRs, often found in trainings, who insanely abuse and disrespect members.
And I, as a senator, do not tolerate disrespect.
Whether it's to a higher rank, or to a lower.
It's all the same to me.
Anyways, they also do crime off-duty often, and if you ever let them know it's not alright, they'll threaten to take your job.
If you elect me to be a Ho#,##########'t be any more people like that.
I will work with the other HoRs and Senators to propose bills removing horrible, inactive, (and if not inactive), unprofessional/abusive HRs from every department.
And no, I will not replace the previous ones with my friends.
You can take a screenshot of my friends list or who I most often talk to informally, and nobody from there will be added in.
Because I, as a Representative, will be working to make sure we, as rightful citizens of Docklands, take advantage of the large amount of activity we get each day.
Anyways, to end it off, I promised (rather, said) that I would speak about free-rankers.
Free-rankers are the people who make our Ro-Nation corrupt.
You'll think you're just landing your buddy a rank because he won't be your friend/will like you less if you don't.
And yes, I understand that.
But you have to understand that this is what ruins, dare I say, corrupts us.
No, not the crime.
No, not "#WarOnDPD".
It's the free-rankers, gullibly ranking their friends in hopes of a better friendship or something.
If you, (yes, you as in the person reading) are an HR, and someone you know asks for a rank, please deny them.
Because just like turning off the lights to prevent lost electricity, it's like preventing one more addition to the shards of corruption that have pierced our state.
Wondering what to tell them? Tell them to ask another HR, because you don't have the power to.
And when you think about it, it's really not that much of lying.
Because no, you don't have the right to corrupt our state.
Nobody does.
