I'll divide this speech up into 3 categories. Who I am, what I've done as Deputy Mayor and an LVCC Councilor, and what I plan to do to make Las Vegas substantially better than it currently is. So who am I? I am currently the Deputy Mayor of Las Vegas. I ran and became a councilor twice, and even became Council President. But as Billy Mays (RIP) would say: That's not all! I come from many different backgrounds, and apply logic to every single part of my actions. I am currently a dedicated law enforcer, and believe that Las Vegas has amazing people with amazing ideas and voices that need to be heard. I am highly active person who knows what hes doing, and understands every aspect of the actions that I take. The mayor position is a greatly strong and powerful position, and I am definitely ready and sure that I can take that position and carry Las Vegas into even more greatness than our current Mayor has done for it. I've worked endlessly to provide updates that will benefit users so they have a immensely greater enjoyment and want to come back. I've worked to help make law enforcers WANT to protect our city instead of just coming for a mandatory patrol. I've worked to make the people of nUSA WANT to come to Las Vegas to open up a business, apply for a job, enjoy with friends, check out cool places in Las Vegas, and even check out the dangerous but exciting criminal life. I have also worked to make sure that Las Vegas isn't a city run completely by cops and their overpowering tools. Many bills have been proposed in council, and I've worked to make sure that they never get added into Las Vegas because of how overpowered they are. I've also made sure that stupid bills don't pass that would ruin how the city functions, and how enjoyable it is. And I've given the people a voice. I've opened up places where people can go and submit bill ideas that I can propose and can be added to Las Vegas. I've asked the people numerous times for ideas, and given them almost all, if not all the credit for the bill. And I continuously talk to the citizens about what THEY want in Las Vegas. I agree that I don't know all, but I believe that 2 heads are better than one, and if everyone submits just one idea to be added into Las Vegas, then Las Vegas will turn out a greater city than it currently is, and the people will not only have something that will make their time more enjoyable, but will sort of have a part of the city to call their own. That covered a lot of what I've done, but if you still aren't satisfied, have a look at this trello board: /b/M4pG9lvV/ So what will I do as Mayor? When I first became a councilor, there was a game outside of Las Vegas where people could submit ideas and it would go to the trello. Sadly it was taken down and stuff due to internal conflicts, but I really want to bring that back as Mayor. It is almost a necessity to people to let their voice be heard in the best way possible. I also want to have a monthly meeting with the other city mayors. Las Vegas is far superior to the other cities, but it isn't the only city. I'll admit that other cities have ideas that would work greatly for Las Vegas, and vise versa. Arranging a meeting with the other mayors and talking to them about our ideas and progress and what we suggest for their city could help benefit multiple cities and make it much more enjoyable for everyone. It is an idea that could substantially improve Las Vegas, DC, and LA. I want to add more jobs to LV. Currently, there are federal headquarters, and banks. That is not enough. For Las Vegas to be a place for the people, not just for cops and criminals, there needs to be something that people can do. Las Vegas needs many more buildings and businesses added. Businesses such as food resturants, news companies, insurance agencies, clothing stores, and many others. I hope that many of the people reading this have thought of possibly starting their own business, and I want you guys to know that it shouldn't just be a thought. Las Vegas needs the PEOPLE to start businesses for it to receive the teams. Not to mention the vast employment boost that will come with more businesses opening. Las Vegas needs more site seeing areas. I have ideas such as super tall elevator buildings that you can go on, take a huge ride up, and see the city from high up. It would be an amazing place for friends to hang. Maybe some cutscenes could also be added. But bills and updates aren't the only things the mayor has to deal with. The mayor works with the Las Vegas services, which is exactly what I've been striving to do for my entire Deputy Mayor term. I've worked with LVPD, and EMS. I've seen LVPD go from a dead bush to an amazingly active city service with great officers and even better leaders, all thanks to the current Sheriff Lamg_567. He has done much more than I ever could as LVPD Chief, and I am greatly thankful for him, and plan to keep him in that position for as long as possible if he is willing. As for EMS, I think that it needs more improving and could use a make-over. I also plan to make Las Vegas less hacker-friendly. I plan to give Ban Moderators special tools that will allow them to stop exploiters quickly, but not be abused even slightly without others knowing and for severe consequences to be delivered. I despise abuse, which is one of the reasons I'm one of the first responders to rogues and work hard to stop them with other law enforcers. tl;dr: I'm running for Mayor. I know what I'm doing, and I have cool ideas to make you happy. Vote for me ok. But for real, I am a great candidate who wants nothing but to give people a voice and to make Las Vegas even better than it currently is, and I know how to do it. I promise that if I am elected into the Mayoral office, I WILL make it a greater place, and I do not make false politician promises. A vote for me is not a wasted vote. A vote for me is a vote for your voice. A vote for me is a vote for Las Vegas' prosperity. Vote HershB for Mayor.
